  • Aprilia AF1 frame, which I find is the best 125 frame ever, heavily tuned with RS parts, Wilbers suspension, Rotax 123 original motor 223616 Gilardoni cylinder, heavily tuned, Italkit parts, Selettra inner rotor P3356E, Tyga exhaust, and a bunch of other parts from all over... love those Ducati 996 brake discs, working great with the original caliper and sinter pads... and of course some hours in the garage...the bike is still in progress and still many things to lighten it up. Net weight now round about 95Kg...

    Beautiful hybrid! I'm restoring an '90 AF1 Futura myself if I may ask what expansion chamber did you use? Meaning did you buy for a RS125(Rotax 123)?

    Hi!
    Looks nice! especially with AF1 frame :) As I know that is few kg lighter than RS125.
    Just be careful with original rearsets - they are shit for racing! First contact with ground and the will brake. I've broken two, after that made custom aluminium rearsets.

      Yes, I´m with you - AF1 frame is the better RS frame, made inb GP style with alu profiles instead of casted alu. Do you have a template for the rearsets..? I´m looking for some since ages ;)

      Hi! I made them from 20x12mm 6 series aluminium bars. You can bend them if heated and then weld them together. In case of crash they bend but do not brake -I have tried that for few times :D

      That is really impressive number! Considering that is with those heavy aprilia wheels!

      thanks! I already have one Marvic mag. Piuma rear wheel... looking for a front wheel, but they are pretty rare... a rear frame made of alu profiles and a lighter Lucas rear disk from a GasGas EC 250 (fits pnp) comes next...

      Tony Turner the hole back side is for cooling/oiling bolt, head and needle bearing. Did that with RD pistons in the ancient times. Also seen Racing pistons for the RS with one or even 2.

    Nice project bud, is that Tyga exhaust any good and how many BHP?

    • @twostrokeforever2328
      @twostrokeforever2328  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks bro! In my opinion the Tyga exhaust is the best on the market. better made, lighter, more power gain and much cheaper then a Jolly, and far far better then Arrow. look at the dyno graphs and you´ll find out the same I assume. In combination with the Italkit membrane (vforce no good, but expensive) you surely gain at least 5 BHP. you can get a complete kit with head @ round about €430... look at the prices for a Jolly... did not have a dyno run yet, but believe me it goes like a roket ;) of course you need the right setup in whole, e.g. I found out that the VHSB type LD with K25 needle runs far better then all other VHSB types, e.g. the QD (racing)..I tested it. The stock RS from 92/93 with LD type had 34BHP (stock!) I will do dyno run soon - keep u posted

      B P what jets and premix you using had all carbs best is flatside dellorto34

    • @twostrokeforever2328
      @twostrokeforever2328  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      using VSHB 34 LD type (best for rotax 123 I think) with DP266, 2nd notch, main 170, pilot 42... but I´l drop down with the main jet and check it out. furthermore I´ll work on ignition advance...
