For the first half of the 2024, felt like there were B2G1/4 for 40/4 for 20 deals every month, but looks like they're finally slowing down or eliminating it entirely. It was good while it lasted.
Yeah...NorCal Gamestops're pretty weak. I was surprised when I went by a small Gamestop at my local mall that usually is the worst when looking for older games, and though there were no space in the front for them, there were retro in the back that a nice employee offered to make printouts of all of their retro inventory with prices by console! Didn't find anything I wanted, but it was nice of him to offer cuz I prefer to look through everything than ask if they have specific games. Most my Gamestop visits here have been horrible fro inventory to pricing to staff interactions. Back in the day the coolest thing was they'd check the surrounding stores within like a 100 mile radius for the game I was seeking and would have it transferred at no cost to my local location no matter how cheap the game. There was a time all their ds games were bargain binned and I'd find some sweet deals and they'd send a $5 ds game like 50-60 miles for me! The 1st one they refused still haunts me to this day. I found Dark Spire for d's for like less than half it's going value but they'd already begun limiting the minimum price and distance and it wad untransferable. Still am missing it in my collection. My best buys there were Blood Will Tell (ps2) $20, Chibi-robo! $30(GC), MGS Twin Snakes $40(GC), and Afrika $70(ps3).

My local GameStop has Wii X360 and PS3, but nothing older than that.
