I like this. I like it a lot. Gold’s “shut it” and “it’s not fair” makes me think that you remembered Gold was ten and didn’t have to say some big fancy word like most of the lyrics that these videos have. Yes, Gold is now technically 17 but he’d still act like hes 10 because he’s never grown or interacted outside the void since then.
Something I also like is the fact that outside of those, he still mostly talks like some ancient being who's seen all there is to be seen and knows how the world works and absolutely despises it. Honestly though, I've heard a couple different "Monochrome but with lyrics," videos but this has got to be the best one I've seen. The idea of turning the screaming within the song into lyrics themselves was a great touch, one that I've never heard before. If he continues to make these kinds of videos I'm definitely subscribing. Also I feel like all the lyrics are filled with such burning hatred that just brings the lyrics up to a 9/10 for me, & approching the end the hatred turns more into a warning if anything. Some of my favorite parts were : 1:17 (The lyrics themselves are good but the way Nominal sings them is just amazing) 2:17 (specifically the final part).

Don’t know why but I LOVE the line ‘Smiles Cry’, showing that showing ‘happiness’ doesn’t necessarily mean you ARE happy. In Gold’s case, he has nothing left, but pain when ALREADY DEAD. He’s suffering while trying to keep a positive image to disregard the pain.

I love the pure ANGER that gold radiates in his voice, obviously just wanting everyone to be happy, but knowing the worst of man still lives on. Edit: said anger is much more noticeable in his scream parts, specifically parts such as "SHUT IT!" Or "IT'S NOT FAIR!" As that really hammers in the dread and anger he's struggling to hold back, knowing he has little power over everything, and that BF will probably just ignore him.

Fall does rain on the hand of kindness is basically saying that kindness is left outside in the rain. based on the few things I've seen about Gold, I just feel like most of the things said in the lyrics would be things he'd reference and talk about from time to time. I might do a video about Gold just saying things, just to really drive home this idea

Monsters that take the innocence from the innocent is referring to... uhh... I can't say what they are here, but they're really bad people. The Innocent are children, and the innocence being taken from them is something that you can't get back. EVER. Gold is talking about how horrible the world is. Throughout the entire song he's constantly trying to control himself and keep his anger in check, but he can't keep himself calm. The world being so corrupted angers him, so much so that he can't hold in the anger. It's the kind of pain that makes him scream, and the worst part is that it isn't even physical. I like this. I like it a lot. Gold’s “shut it” and “it’s not fair” makes me think that you remembered Gold was ten and didn’t have to say some big fancy word like most of the lyrics that these videos have. Yes, Gold is now technically 17 but he’d still act like hes 10 because he’s never grown or interacted outside the void since then.
Something I also like is the fact that outside of those, he still mostly talks like some ancient being who's seen all there is to be seen and knows how the world works and absolutely despises it. Honestly though, I've heard a couple different "Monochrome but with lyrics," videos but this has got to be the best one I've seen. The idea of turning the screaming within the song into lyrics themselves was a great touch, one that I've never heard before. If he continues to make these kinds of videos I'm definitely subscribing. Also I feel like all the lyrics are filled with such burning hatred that just brings the lyrics up to a 9/10 for me, & approching the end the hatred turns more into a warning if anything. Some of my favorite parts were : 1:17 (The lyrics themselves are good but the way Nominal sings them is just amazing) 2:17 (specifically the final part).
