- Here's a quick guide to finding O3 runs on demand, so you can do it the way that us "trackers" and "hackers" do.
I'm sick and tired of getting called a tracker and hacker. I'm especially fed up with players who claim they own a public space. Why are we trying to privatize the Oryx Sanctuary? I generally get the excuse of "they're my runes so it's my run". Fair enough, but it's my time and I choose what to do with it. Please don't harass anyone, even if they're going after you for "crashing" their run. If someone is hosting the runes for you, try to be respectful to them, even if they're not happy that you're there.
I do the same thing but I make sure I only invade discords. If a guild or a small group of friends is doing it, I’ll respect them.

Honestly i dont even know why would anyone even care if you crash 40+man run. The problem lies in the kids who track as a group for ur 10man runs. Had to wait 3h other day just to do solo.

@@JakeOunce I added a warning, I'm not sure if you've noticed. I'm not encouraging crashing small groups, and if that happens I am in no way accountable. This may bring awareness to the fuckiness of the system, and hopefully deca is made aware that we need it redone!
Runes are the same as an inc essentially, imagine someone saying "my inc my rules 1/4 reqs for o2" Bullshit
This is the truth. Runes are hard to come by, however, making it hard to argue against either side here. The system is in need of a rework if players don't want 'crashers' in their runs

Funny to me how ppl say shit like, “Let’s see what your guild founder thinks about this” as if like the guild founder is their fucking dad or something. Ppl really treat this game like a desk job rather than a source of entertainment and it’s sad
What is the reasoning behind sitting in a dungeon until the realm closes?
Thats a very good question. If you don't, there's a good chance people looking for locations will see you and continue searching for another loc. You can see when the realm closes regardless, so its safer to hide

Thank you for finally acknowledging that the endgame content in realm should not require a discord run to do. I've heard every argument that crashing is rude or stupid, and they make some valid points, but no discord is obliged to pop runes while there are crashers, they can wait if they really want to get rid of people. Also, it's somewhat ridiculous to say that you own an o3 run and realm because you "claimed" it or because you're popping runes, since no one ever does that with wine cellars (though incs are more common). I do not support crashing high req runs with bad characters, as I myself do a lot of veteran runs myself and crashers wearing bad gear does slow down the runs and make them less safe. Also, please do not crash guild runs, since guilds are what realm should rely on for endgame content instead of discords. It would be nice if deca could make a "guild realm" system so that guilds could run o3s without having to worry about toxic crashers. I have to say in conclusion that I have no problem with crashing unless you are doing it in a toxic way, like crashing small guild runs or vet runs with terrible items and then leeching the whole time.
I think a guild realm would be a great way to incentivize finding a guild for endgame content. Without much revision, however, it would be very open to abusing exploits privately (namely boat style trains)

While I think discords can help players learn, I think it's better to experiment for yourself and go into the fight without someone yelling in your ear. Survival of the fittest indeed.

Damn right. I went into a public o3 for first time without playing it on testing before and lost best char and even 2 days ago also went on public o3 and died but still didn't regret it. Its super fun on public o3 and I feel that discord runs just ruins that feeling.

And don't parse(starting counters) during this public event PLEASE! I'm capable of doing o3s regularly but I don't parse because it's such an a$$hole move, because this is about the only chance the new players get to practice o3. I actually hate people who parse during this event to the core.

Just clear your own realms like me. I'm always able to get an O3 if I want one. I also have time to record hackers as a bonus.

If you clear the heroes in a realm to get it close to closing someone might use your location. In that way you could say you've earned the right to be there even though you weren't invited.
I usually find a realm with under 25 remaining and less than 15 people then find a dungeon to hide in, groups always steal the realm then flood it with 40-60 people also “taken” in global chat confirms that you get an o3
25 rem is less consistent and will take much longer to close. But yeah that's basically what I'm trying to get across here

imagine being deca, working weeks/months for an end-game dungeon filled with new projectiles, patterns, items, mechanics. all of that and in the end the community restricts itself from playing this DUNGEON that's in the GAME made for EVERYONE to PLAY by having to meet certain requirements. It's like "be good and get items in the game or you can't play the other 10% of it."
How is the community restricting itself? Runes, even after drop rate increase, are still too tedious to farm. During free rune events plenty of players say screw discords and just pop into usw4 or something. It has nothing to do with meeting gear reqs.

@@jnaps2213 yeah I did, he said Deca spends months creating new cool projectiles and dungeos for players to be kept out for not having certain gear or requirements met. ""be good and get items in the game or you can't play the other 10% of it."" I think the argument that accessibility is limited due to this is less likely that it being limited due to players not wanting to farm 3 runes over the course of week(s). Most players looking to start o3 can obtain wine cellar tops relatively easily.
@@jnaps2213 Also for the sake of me possibly misinterpreting, if he is referring to runes with "items," it is somewhat restricting yes. I do not enjoy farming for runes, probably very few players do. But instead of driving yourself to insanity making videos crashing guild runs irritating a huge chunk of the community, try taking a break or nicely asking small runs to join and what not. You are taking out your frustrations on players by doing this, not Deca.
@@JakeOunce think of it this way. you can get tops okay, but do you think tops is the only requirement? you also have to be maxed, which isn't as easy as saying "trading 1gl for t13 robe" and it takes a long time just for a single try at the actual fight in an organised discord server. whereas using jnaps' method you can learn the fight faster, play it more and get more loot to be more useful in the future

People need to realize that it's the realm, a public area in the game where anybody can enter. You shouldn't be suspended from a discord bc some stuck up rl doesn't want you in a run unless they have a serious reason to leave you out (such as trolling, interfering with the run, etc). It's not like private dungeons where an effort is made to keep the location private, and there are ways of preventing crashers (such as /kick).
I've seen RLs try to kick out people with the best dps sets in the game for retarded reasons like "thEy aRe NoT iN vC" like shut up bro

i think i would do this if runes were very common, i just dont like the idea of crashing, and ill always leave if in asked to. i hope deca can make o3s as common as wine cellars someday.

It is sad that the system works like this, I'm just here to help people enjoy and access endgame content.
The statement in the bio of this video sounds like an argument my little cousin would make to play on my pc when we had birthday party’s. Like I don’t care if I ruin someone else experience of the game as long as it benefits me. Everybody should be able to do o3. But if someone isn’t entitled to a run they fixed why should anyone else be entitled to join that run? The realms are public yes but who is forcing u to stay and wait out the runes when being asked nicely to leave? It’s like a catch 22 no one can claim a public realm yes but why can’t u claim an o3 via that isn’t public since someone has to opens it with runes meaning it’s hosted. Just like a key pop that would only be able to pop in a public place. I don’t blame anyone but I don’t think this thing is solving the problem. I think deca needs to work something out.

Weird video, but understandable. The way deca set osanc up, and how difficult it is to reach for newer players, i can see why you would do this. I am very fortunate to have a good guild that does smaller o3s consistently, but if you don't, you are stuck trying to make a name for yourself in pubs. O3 should be more accessible, but still somehow allow smaller runs for people trying to do speedruns/guild runs etc. -Wanjet

I agree that OSanc is too hard to reach for the average player and I think it should be changed. But this discord he is promoting crashed my small guild o3, spammed "THIS O3 IS SPONSORED BY AVERAGE O3 ENJOYERS, then pvp'ed miasma when we didn't even ask them to leave. Just nicely to not pvp. @Jnaps stop trying to make yourselves out to be courteous.
I agree! I had an idea for a raid system in-game, but I think it would just end up making public runs more scarce. Maybe I'll revisit that later and make a video on it.

It's so braindead, and I've already done hundreds. I'm sick of discords, and you tend to lose more due to high player count making the run last longer. I've also left all the realm discords and I have no plan on returning. I play the game with friends or alone.

It's a really complex problem but the short answer is elitism and limited drops. They want minimal numbers in their raids

My guild spent over an hour setting up a priv run, just for ROTMGTroller in this discord to announce our run and PVP miasma. We didn't even ask you to leave, just asked nicely not to PVP. In all seriousness though, leave if it's a challenge run. Don't be that asshole. If it's not a challenge run and the group just wants it to be small, too bad for them. If you help clear the realm you're actually contributing something meaningful anyways.
Tracking on the other hand is quite toxic and annoying. Deca should make an effort to either fix their botting issue or take down the Discords.
Going out of your way to find Oryxes by server hopping is also pesky, I wouldn't say it's malicious though seeing as the progression all the way to Oryx Sanctuary is public. It doesn't have any exclusive mechanics like Kicking or the Bazaar timer.
I agree with most everything you said here, minus the part about hopping servers being pesky. How else are you supposed to find a closing realm? Closing a fresh one takes ages for most players
@@jnaps2213 Everyone knows that there are several parties attempting to do private runs, so in theory the most courtious thing to do would be to join all of those discords and aquaint yourself with those people. That's a lot of work just to play O3 though.
Also just playing the most active server is a good way to get closing realms, this video is about how to find other people's runes though lol.

There's nothing out there telling people how to join an o3 except discords, and running in discords constantly is highly demotivating. I was looking through comments to see if anyone else was disappointed in this video. Very unfortunate to see someone you respected and enjoyed watching videos of promote such behavior. You’re right that the fault shouldn’t be on the players due to the accessibility of O3, but that doesn’t mean you should promote behavior that puts down others, being guilds or friends groups per say, who want to do an O3 without crashers. You mention discords in your message^^ but you promoting this behavior harms anyone trying to do a private run of some sort. I can’t tell you how many times I want to do a duo, trio, or even just a run with some guildmates and ask people to leave nicely after o2 but they respond in a toxic manner and stay while proving they have no intention but to crash. This will only become an increasing problem with promotion like this. I wonder if you’ve ever attempted a solo run and if you were ever crashed when attempting one as well.

I constantly have been saying, dont leech, dont harrass people, be kind, etc. This is an issue with the system, and deca is who you should be complaining to about it. I am attempting to improve the accessibility of runs, nothing toxic. I have solod before and I made sure I was alone at o2. You can see it in my tank.exe video
