Great reaction! ❤ I enjoy the various genres ; they are not stuck in only one style - so talented. Glad you reacted to this one- one of my favorites.

Barry and Maurice early 1970 with Robin still solo-ing at this time. Colin is drumming. fifth original band member Vince (guitarist) left in late 1969. "Too Much Heaven" Bee Gees won't come around until 7-8 years later.

You paused right before the best single measure in the song! At 2:54, just the sigh ❤

Lol, I always pause at inconvenient times. Welcome to reaction hell.

If you see the lead singing, that's meant that the idea of the song was brought by that singer....

Remember, I'm moderately tone deaf so figuring out who the lead on any song is going to be obvious to all of you but definitely not me. This is my first jump into any mainstream bands. I've never seen music videos before this that didn't have only a single artist.
My job is forcing me to learn how to determine music beats, so let's see how that goes, lol.

Probably around 1968-69. This was right before Robin rejoined his brothers after their break-up. Barry and Maurice were filming the Cucumber Castle tv show. By the way, look into the songs from that endeavor. Some great music came out of that.

Most of my reactions are direct requests from you guys, feel free to to make a request. If your saying in generally only really listen to non lyric based music. The upside at least for reaction based content I've basically heard nothing, meaning just about everything is a first time reaction lol.

This was during the period when Robin left the group. Bee Gees without Robin is hard to wrap my head around, but the Cucumber Castle album (no Robin) is a great album and has many great songs on it, amoung my favorites are "Bury Me Down By The River"(not sure there is a good video on that), which is a fantastic showcase for soulful Barry, and "The Lord" which is a fun song, and "Don't Forget To Remember" which is a bit old school but has become a favorite of mine anyway (Mo is present in the latter two are there are videos out ther from the Cucumber Castle movie). Bee Gees are very diverse and one of my very favorite thing about them. The song "I Surrender" (which has a great video) is probably the closest they have to rap that I can think of. It's a fantastic song, you should do that one to get a different flavor from their later stuff.

First of all, the singer WAS/IS Barry! (you said you like it not seeing always Barry in front!)🤣
About the videos: They told in an interview with MTV that they mostly didn`t like the videos especially since they mostly had nothing to do with the song and they themselves had completely different ideas about or for a video. But unfortunately they had no influence on it at all, it was decided by the director and was on such short notice that a rejection on their part would have cost a lot of trouble and a lot of money! Robin and Barry joked that maybe they should have slept with the director! The video about it was in Miami for MTV, check it out, to hear and learn something about the music industry at that time and the dependence on artists that weren't yet so "big"!

Barry 'voice was filled with doubtful for tomorrow because Robin had left the band at that time.In my opinion there was not much with the video....😢 but Barry was so stunning in his voice....❤🎉

It is indeed from the very low budget Cucumber Castle movie for the BBC 😂with Barry and Maurice, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Lulu, Roger Daltrey, Donovan, Marianne Faithful and Vincent Price - all songs written by Maurice and Barry 😆 what fun to watch today - would be great when the had remastered material totally underrated movie 😛th-cam.com/video/EHWQyUiJp8E/w-d-xo.html

Hmm I might watch that solo. A full reaction to that might not fall under fair use.
