I actually called into work this morning because I had a dream that made me realize that I had so much resentment built up that it was causing me physical pain during my dream. This happened once before not long ago. So I decided I needed a day of healing and wanted to start with this. I already feel better, but I think I have a ways to go. Thanks for everything.

Absolutely, this was a huge revelation to be too and a hugely powerful insight in that it was also exactly what my Mum did for decades "cutting off her nose to spite her face", never understanding her own behaviour, even asking on her death bed: "Why was I so stupid?" I now realise not stupid, but in pain and anguish Suffering from the human condition. Thank you, every insight is a portal to healing

The part where you talked about hurting myself to protect myself resonated with me so much- and I don’t think I need it. I’ve never put that feeling into words, what I was doing to myself, and now maybe- definitely- I don’t need to hurt myself to protect myself. It’s okay to feel safe in love, without the need to be hurt. Thank you :)

You’ve saved me. You’ve allowed me to save my self. I was adopted into a family where the children’s aid Society refused my parents because they said they wouldn’t be good parents because of their backgrounds. My father‘s father killed his wife and then killed himself and my father was raised by his grandmother. My mother was raised in a divorced family and was not stable. Before I was three my mother was throwing tea on me and my father beat me bloody to the point they couldn’t take me to the hospital because they couldn’t explain the injuries. Every day of my life my mother would scream at me and call me so I many names.. she said my birth mother was a whore and I would turn into one too… I came out of my room one time after changing from my school clothes in my play clothes and the dog walked up behind me and she told me how disgusting I was… I didn’t know what she was talking about… She said do you have your zipper…And then she looked up the dog and meet… She implied that I did something to the dog…When I was 14 a social worker came over from the children’s aid Society because my parents told him I was the bad child. When I told him I would try and be better he looked at me sympathetically and said do you think we’re here because of you? Because you’re a bad child… I said yes, he said no there’s nothing wrong with you..were here because of your parents. That’s the first time I knew something was wrong. That’s the first time I knew it wasn’t me. But it was too late… I was already moulded into this person who felt unloved… Who felt scared… Who felt like he was never good enough and unworthy of everything. When I went back to look for my birth mother I met with someone from the children’s aid Society and she said oh I heard about you and I said I was that bad… wow...And she said no you weren’t...I’ll never admit this again but you never should’ve been given to those people. I finally believe that social worker that it wasn’t me in the sense of relief started to come over me but then a sense of anger that not only could my parents do this to me but how could the children’s aid Society Aide have done this to me… Knowing.
The anger that I carried inside of me, the hurt and the resentment..The physical and emotional scars that I still carry… Left me unrecognizable from who in my soul I knew I really was.
This was the first and only thing that has made a difference. The person I live with the other day said to me I’ve never seen you so calm and so happy before what happened?
It was the tapping..It was this what he did just now and walked us through… That was the one thing in my life but finally made a difference. And when I told my roommate about it he was amazed at the change in me so quickly.
I am 51 years old and spent most of this life… Living with this pain this resentment anger… Thank you for allowing me to reach my soul again and remember who I am inside… But these people buried and almost destroyed.

Thank you so much, Brad. EFT feels like sort of detective Sherlock Holmes work. The whole day long I was in a devastating pain in my chest. I tapped on different issues (opening the heart, relaxation...), nothing helped me until I came upon this resentment (towards my father who cursed me in 1996!). I felt a radical shift in energy doing this stuff. The onion peeling goes on...

You are a true healing source!!! I feel 1000 times better after this. After years of mistreatment and abuse this brought me to tears and made me realize that hurting myself in any way (actions, words) is toxic and it doesn't in any way protect me from further damage. All this time I've been making my wounds larger and larger by thinking it'll make them stronger.. Instead I was just abusing myself, not helping myself.

Thank you so much for your videos, Brad. In my opinion, what you say in your videos is absolutely brilliant. In every video of yours, I think that same thing. I think that the exact things that you say and point out in your tapping videos is precisely what makes them unique among other tapping videos and/or what one may come up with when tapping on one's own...you seem to have really figured out a lot about the reasons why people do the things that they/we do that are not beneficial and rather than just tapping about those things, you share what I consider really wise insight as to some reasons why we might do them. I find that so helpful. Thanks again!

I still have trouble to let go all of it because I feel like I need to do something about it but confrontation seems too scary since I think they will just try to defend themselves and will not apologize genuinely. Thank you. I'm so glad I didn't stop. The part in the beginning where you tap on forgiving ourselves...and maybe, one day, the people that hurt us.
But, since i was introduced to you by someone in a recovery community pretty recently, and I just kept going and.... thank you.
Today is one of those days. Heavy counseling session where I did much verbal ventilation, which I much appreciate the sense of safety and space to do that with her....
... so i was talking a lot about unresolved resentments, where it cut so deep, and has left me one day feeling im right on the 'healing journey'... or whatever. .. and a day like today where I feel so exhausted, triggered, and angry.
I have been swallowing that poison, even literally at some point with the most toxic drug you can think of, severe abuse as a child, repetition compulsion in my adult life.... full circle. My now elderly parents' lack of love, malignant narcissism....it's all gotten worse.
They teach you/groom you to identify with their distorted perceptions of you and their paradigm. They taught me that.
I now know I love myself -- or first, even before that, that i have a Self to love! and I feel significantly better after doing this and sharing this. Truly grateful. It's not like "Bam! Healed! No more trauma and resentment!" but it is like starting to feel things move in that direction knowing what i now know.
    Thanks Brad ❤🙏

for much of my life I couldnt escape angry people, they always seem to be attracted to me (or perhaps me to them). If i went out people would be fighting amongst themselves, couples having a fight, people fighting about something on the street, neighbours yelling, construction workers arguing with eachother and more. Until i did this tapping I hadnt realize that there was so much anger and resentment within me. I would judge people and be critical of them (seldom to their faces) but I never considered it resentment. I feel cleansed at the moment and like many others I slept like a log after doing this. Thank you Brad.

thank you, I also felt while doing it the connection to self sabotage that I've had quite the run of recently. Excellent work!!!!

Thanks Brad! From Romania. Apply eft on the eyes issues. I solved my problems. I worked it like so: Even thou i don't know consciously why and what I don't want to see in my future I forgive myself, i accept myself, i respect myself, i love myself, i thank myself for this, for not seeing clear experience and i free myself. Even thou i do not trust the future and the univers, that it's going to take care of me, I forgive myself, i accept myself, i respect myself, i love myself, i
thank myself for this, for not seeing clear experience and i free
    myself.
Even if I would never release this fear of the future that makes me have eye issues, I forgive myself, i accept myself, i respect myself, i love myself, i
thank myself for this, for not seeing clear experience and i free
    myself.
And remember that all cells in the eye regenerate in 24 hours. You need to clear the DNA stored issues, so the new cells regenerate in perfect health .
