And to top it all off the incessant glazing of Taira by Bisbing and the commentary team like he is the second coming when he just got battered in the first round. I honestly couldn’t believe they were watching the same fight. Then them trying to play off the stoppage like Taira meant to finish Perez that way and it wasn’t some insane fluke injury. So blatantly obvious the UFC brass demanded that they push Taira HARD.
My livingroom was full of snores, I was struggling to hear the commentary. I also feel bad because I said, "I hope someone gets hurt so that I can go to bed."
This is why I like watching both UFC and Boxing with some BKFC in the mix because I was watching the Davis vs. Martin card last night, and it was pretty good.👍

I mean this card was smart for the UFC. lower weights sell less and they got all of them over with on a fight night in Vegas. Now they can play with rankings and figure out who is closer to a title shot at 125 and higher rankings for both 125 and 135.
Don’t take away from Taira’s win by calling it a no contest or a fluke. Perez wasn’t going to come back from having his back taken, and as far as the knee injury goes, it’s far less flukey than the Aspinall or Fiziev one. Those guys kicked their own legs to shit, whereas at least Taira was forcing Perez to balance both guys’ weight to n one leg.

Since the switch to the new gloves we've had 2 KO/TKO by punches (3 if you count the Imavov stoppage) in 37 fights.

The UFC can never keep momentum going. UFC 300 was one of the best cards ever and every card after hasn’t felt nearly as good.
