I replaced my Windows 10 sounds with the Windows 8 sounds. Here's how you can do it too: 1. Download a Windows 8 ISO file, then download and install 7-Zip 2. Open the ISO file with 7-Zip and navigate to the "sources/install.wim" file. install.wim has the exact same file structure as your Windows installation 3. Copy any .wav files you want to use from the ISO into a folder on your desktop 4. Open "C:\Windows\Media" (assuming "C:" is your Windows installation), and individually delete any existing .wav files you want to replace. This folder, and all files within are protected. Change the folder's permissions to remove the protections so you can delete these files 5. Drag your desired Windows 8.1 sounds into the Media folder in your Windows 10/11 installation 6. You're done.
I don't think I'm upgrading to 11. Doesn't feel like a computer software and the sounds aren't getting any character they're just simple notes. 10 is enough for me
