What is the name of this leaf in English?
This is the leaf of the chickpea or what is commonly known as "chana" in India or Bangladesh. Extremely nutritious. It's available mostly in winters. Very high in minerals like magnesium, potassium, zinc and calcium.. must include in your diet whenever available. Another delicious way of cooking it is simply dropping some tender leaves in dahi kadhi. I prefer to cook this very lightly with some garlic chillies onions and tomatoes.toss it all in very little oil and cover it. It cooks in just 5 mins. by cooking it for a short time and covering it you don't lose any of the nutrition.
