- In today's speed build, I am building a realistic suburban family home in the Sims 4. It's also base game only! This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is built on a 30x20 lot in Newcrest. It's perfect for a family of four sims!!

I would love to see the sims who live here and some gameplay. I always find your sims backstories so interesting, I always end up playing the same stories so it's great to have some inspiration. 😊

you should definitely make this family, i can picture them in my head while you’re describing them. i think i would also get past “generation 1” w/ my gameplay. i never want my sims to age/reproduce once i create them 😅 so playing out another simmers story would be fun & new for me. definitely will take me out of my repetitive comfort zone lol
I tend to be that way too! I get so attached and want them to never age or take a reallyyyy long time to age them up manually!
wild how the parents in this backstory are literally my own. dad was a mechanic who loves to do projects at home, mom was a clinic receptionist who loves gardening. thank goodness I don't have siblings or it woulda gotten accurate to a scary degree. 😆

you should try doing currnet household videos, because that would motivate you to actually play the game, or just doing currnet household updates.

This ist really an interesting shape! I have no reliable knowledge about American houses (am European) but it seems kinda different from the usual houses you can see on the net?
It is! A lot of American homes you find online either for sale or on social media are quite generic and staged. This is based off a real house that for sure isn't sought after but I love it. It has character and life!

I prefer to limit the number of custom content that I use in my creations. This is because my artistic style tends to vary and I end up with different aesthetics in each room, which can be frustrating for me.
Same! If it's too much it tends to look the same every time for me!
