What a great job us musicians have…..I also feel blessed having a career, though not as illustrious as DC, but still amply providing for me and my family. Rock on DC and Band! It is inspiring seeing you rock out! I am two decades younger, but do the same….in a much smaller scale,…
Really hope Whitesnake returns for one more go around. That final tour getting cancelled sucked and I need at least one more new record. Come on David - bring the 'snake back one more time!
All reports are negative, no new record nor tour. David has had health issues and really no need. This is already near 2.5 yrs old. Just remember the good times🎉
they made it same as Deep Purple- album after album on Long goodbye tour, but Deep Purple probably target 60th anniversary in 3 years so they made 2 albums more ';)
Yeah, when you have to rely on Dino Jelusick and Reb Beach to fill in your own vocals, it's WAY past time to hang up the mic! David Coverdale was second to NONE in his prime, but that was 30 years ago. A total ham, consummate showman, fantastic singer and all-around LEGEND in Heavy Metal, but he knew he was just about finished.
It sounds like heavy metal and Purple were never that. Ritchie and Tommy both played that song with feel and panache. Davids vocals are sponsored by The Marlboro Tobacco Co, and they are certainly getting their moneys worth. Glenn has never smoked a cigarette in his life, and his voice kills.
Not right. They switched to D tuning in 2012. Compare this to the version on Live In The Still of the Night. Most of the songs sound totally wrong now.
He should have made Forevermore the final album and final tour. He lost his voice after that and the band has sucked after Aldrich left. It’s not like he needed the money. Hoekstra adds nothing to this, he can go back to playing with Cher.
I don't know...he handled those 'time, time, time' screams pretty well. He was 71 here. Pretty freakin' good for his age. Wonder what you'll be capable of at 71?
LOL...COVERDALE IS HORRIBLE...LOL. GREAT SONG...COVERDALE COULDN'T SING IT WITHOUT GLEN HUGHES' HELP, EVEN WHEN HE WAS YOUNG... NOW...HE SOUNDS LIKE A RUSTY OLD MONO-TONE GATE.
jajajajajajajaja no mames wey tu quieres que siga cantando como hace cuarenta años, COVERDALE siempre será uno de los mejores frontman del siglo pasado, aunque te revuelques y patalees che ignorante¡¡¡
A terrible shame about Coverdale. Voice gone and he just looks old and tired here. Should have quit at least ten years earlier. Token rock chick on bass, nobody in the band (apart from TA) who was either in or can compete with a prior line-up. A sad decline. No more, no more, no more.
Great musicians Tommy still a beast on the kit.
Mr.Coverdale&Whitesnake is Forever!!!!
I saw Whitesnake in Lausanne, Switzerland in January 1983 with Cozy Powell on Drums. Support was Ozzy, with Thommy Aldrich
... back then Whitesnake was still playing live
Aldridge.
@@thefonzkiss Sorry, of course Aldridge
Great song, and great musicians
Amazing performance by white snake.
Seeing Reb Beach and Joel Hoekstra on one stage is unreal. 🤟

lol, two guys who have made a career out of playing other people’s songs.

He’s still got a wicked voice…at any age!
Very powerful and very emotional.
But I miss Ritchie especially for this song “Burn”.
Legend!❤❤❤

They won't.

Don't You hear it? This was already the end.
We feel that David is very moved because he knows that this is perhaps one of the Snake's last concerts...
Рок 🎸 навсегда здорово 👍

Richie Blackmore is a genius

There aren't many audiences in this town!
Great to see them going out with a bang. Sound engineers could've done a better job though, to prevent David's voice from being drowned out like this.
It’s supposed to me his voice is gone. You’ll note the keyboard player is singing backups all the tim

This farewell world tour is fifty years late. World record!
Thats just idiotic. They sold nine million albums in 1987.

Certos solos de guitarra não podem ser alterados, e esse é um deles, destrói a versão original.
What is impressive is he refused to do what just about every older band does: play in a lower key.
Yeah, but DC is already doubled all entire lines. This is the end of it.

Daves last farewell singing really not working anymore - farewell!

You can see why Garry Bushell called him Dorothy Coverdale. Transistion almost complete.
Glenn Hughes band does this song better
I bet most bands do.
Are you thinking of Dead Daisies when GH was singing? Because that version bangs.
@@blastfromthepast-o1dI agree sounds a bit dead duck in the water
You are correct. I saw Glenn do this song in Ft. Lauderdale earlier this year. Still has a great voice in his 70's.
