I enjoy your enthusiasm. I just purchased the GT3. Mine does allow preselected responses to messages and emails. I like the find my phone feature. Ill never forget my phone because my watch will signal when i lose connection with it. I like the light and compass, that you can add a photo as the default watch face, it's extraordinary battery life. I do play sports but im interested in all these other features too, the constant heart rate and oxygen saturation and the sleep quality monitoring are all v good too. Thank you again. Keep up the good work.
Samsung S20 here.. was thinking of getting SW4.. but no Ended up ordering Huawei GT Runner (other GT3 twin) & I got on sale for $175 (with Tax) great deal for such a watch GT Runner version have bonuses, like: 1- protection bazel. 2- AI coach. 3- lighter weight. 4- improved reads (GPS & sports) Yes, my S20 will have better features with GW4, but 14 days Vs 2 days was a deal breaker.. plus Huawei Watches are solid choice (my GT2-E has been working since 2020 with no issues at all) & the funny thing is it's still getting updates to this date xD
@@TechMishka already seen that.. its around 14 days of light use, and 9 days of medium use, Huawei Watches may be expensive, but they built really well, last long with 2-3 years of updates Its one of best watch for people who want a good package overall
U have gps navigation ,suports emojis and u can even response for text messages ,u just have to write down some words in the health app. Yes not the best navigation but u have it. I have this watch for a month now for a 32mb ram watch its surprisingly good. I know this video is older maybe they fix the issues. Nice video btw love it how u explain everything.

Good job Mihail. I have disagreements on some points. GT3 is a significant upgrade even from GT2 Pro. Heart rate accuracy reached the level of Polar H10, a feat we only saw in Apple Watch 6-7 before. I cannot blame GT2 Pro for its inferior heart rate measurement because it is the case for almost all other smartwatches, Samsung, Fitbit, Garmin, Whoop, Xiaomi, etc. These guys just couldn't make it using the same PPG technology. Apple and obviously Polar (OH1+) achieved ECG accuracy in heart rate with PPG. Now joined them Huawei. It would be much better to include support for an external chest monitor in GT2 Pro rather than in GT3 because in GT3 you don't need it. I am not sure about the accuracy of blood oxygen monitoring. Skin temperature is a good feature but it is measured once an hour and that doesn't give us a detailed picture. It could be once every 10 minutes like in Spo2 if your hand is still. The next features to implement in Huawei GT series would be continuous blood pressure and HRV monitoring. Maybe also respiratory rate. See CardiacSense and their watch and band. Body composition analysis as done by Samsung looks also appealing.
Agreed, I also find HR tracking to be superb and very accurate. The only thing this watch misses are preconfigured answers to text messages. And Strava support :)

Thank you so much for your review. my Gt 2e broke, unfortunately i had a nasty fall, cracked the screen and water got in. So no fault to the watch. I absolutely loved my gt2. Did everything I needed it to do. I know the heart rate monitor wasnt too great. Now would you recommend spending the extra money for the Gt 3? I do not use my watch for replying to messages or paying for things. I use it to track all the different exercises, sleep, ect. Just a recommendation if I should just buy another gt2 or go for the gt3?

I got a Gt2 pro and I don't see much difference between the 2 models. Initially I thought Gt3 comes with Ekg but after I saw not all models have it, I just bought a Gt2pro and separately and Ekg monitor device which is even better because I don't need to give the watch to my mother for measurements :))
Got the GT3 stainless steel 46mm 3 days ago. It is amazing. Absolutely love it! Running all the time connection with the phone and syncing the heart rate, spo2 and stress lvl all the time. Battery dropped 30% for three days. Inerface is brilliant with nice colors. 👌
People talk about the Galaxy watch 4 like it is some magic. I mean what will you do when the battery drains in a few hours and you have a brick in hand. I have been using Samsung phones for 10 yrs and 1 thing I always feel is Samsung does not understand the importance of batteries. Either they will give battery on fires or a small battery. I always have to carry a battery pack.
Hey Dave, thanks for the comment. Well... I think it is a cat and mouse game... SoCs get a little more power efficient, but other components get faster and better and consume that advantage; I also cannot stand the idea of charging my watch each and every day...

I just checked this... after buying the watch but I don't feel bad about it. I'm usually don't care about third party apps, using my phone to pay isn't a big deal and the price was 180€. Hopefully its a good enough watch for basic usage, only way to find out it to wait for it to ship.

@@TechMishka what's Strava got to do with Google fit? Strava does not gather the essential data. It's been a year and Huawei has not updated their app. Kinda amateur hour. I have Huawei watch, j like it but app sucks, and no web page I can go to like Fitbit. No sync with Google fit. I would not recommend this to anyone unless Huawei gets their act together on the software side.
I've got a gt2 watch and just upgraded to watch GT3 and I can't reply to text or WhatsApp like I did on gt2. Will there be an update so I can text on the watch GT3
Make sure the app is updated. If it still doesn't work - do a factory reset and clear the app cache and data and it will work. I had the same issue after upgrading.
I have the GT2 because I wanted a reasonable priced watch with long battery life. Other than that it's standard fitness tracking features but limited integration with third party apps. The bonus is the Bluetooth calling on the watch so you don't have to take your phone out to answer a quick call.

In my case, I get the notification and then the display switches to another screen where it looks like a normal incoming call, I can answer the whatsapp call, but the only issue is that, the caller's name is not displayed, instead I see "Unknown number", and below that, the answer and reject button, any solutions?
which one do u think the best for app optimization : huawei gt3 with huawei health, or amazfit gtr3 pro with zepp os? Yes, you can do this and switch between the currently active devices.

Most sensores will fetch the temperature on the wrist, which is not always the most accurate measurement.

Usain - this is not going to happen. Wi-Fi is not available, and no way to run Whatsapp on this OS.

I believe there is no way to make contactless payments using the global version.

The GT3 works quicker, and I feel like it is a nice upgrade to GT2. Both are lovely devices, and GT2 still receives updates from time to time.

Must have been the Mi 12 or the Oneplus 9. Using Pixel 7 now.
You can follow a route with outdoor sport modes. Import via Health app, go to workout settings and choose a route. That's it. :)

Yes. You can very easilly reconnect the watch with a phone without a factory reset.

@@TechMishka what's Strava got to do with Google fit? Strava does not gather the essential data. It's been a year and Huawei has not updated their app. Kinda amateur hour. I have Huawei watch, j like it but app sucks, and no web page I can go to like Fitbit. No sync with Google fit. I would not recommend this to anyone unless Huawei gets their act together on the software side.

I've got a gt2 watch and just upgraded to watch GT3 and I can't reply to text or WhatsApp like I did on gt2. Will there be an update so I can text on the watch GT3
Make sure the app is updated. If it still doesn't work - do a factory reset and clear the app cache and data and it will work. I had the same issue after upgrading.

GT3, because of the rotating crown and the faster interface.
I have the GT2 because I wanted a reasonable priced watch with long battery life. Other than that it's standard fitness tracking features but limited integration with third party apps. The bonus is the Bluetooth calling on the watch so you don't have to take your phone out to answer a quick call.
Awesome summary! Some of the apps are getting a lot smarter in the last months.

Hi, can you please tell me if you can answer whatsapp calls on the GT 3? In my case, I get the notification and then the display switches to another screen where it looks like a normal incoming call, I can answer the whatsapp call, but the only issue is that, the caller's name is not displayed, instead I see "Unknown number", and below that, the answer and reject button, any solutions?
Sure! You can respond to notifications with predefined answers. Not sure if it stupports displaying the caller when there's a Whatsapp call.
But this dash cam is not really a Xiaomi one...

which one do u think the best for app optimization : huawei gt3 with huawei health, or amazfit gtr3 pro with zepp os? Im not that person who change my watch every year or so, so im looking for smartwatch that at least works for 2 years. sometimes i think that one day huawei will draw its app from app store since they have their own ecosystem, so one day it will no longer usable with apple device, which that isn't something i have no worry with zepp os bcs apparently zepp os is an operating system for amazfit's watches.
If iPhone is in the scope - better go with Amazfit.
