Do you know how to install the driver for the usb fingerprint reader U.are.U 4500 digital persona in linux? I tried with wine but didn't work for the driver . I'm using linux mint 21.1 or 21.2

May ask why if I connect my finger scanner module to pin 5V PWR... it gives me "RuntimeError: Failed to read data from sendor"... in the data sheet of my finger scanner it says it takes from 3v to 6v

Great video, thank you! I'm having an error while trying to run the code though. It's either "Couldn't open the port. Permission denied /dev/ttyS0" or "no such file or directory /de/ttyUSB0" depending on which code I uncomment. I wired the scanner as black-GND, white-TXD, green-RXD, red-5V. I'm also using a USB to TTL UART converter. If anyone knows what the problem is, I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions!
