About "Sana Keithel Pheidaapung" which was a main market in Imphal established during the reign of Metei King Khaagemba (1597-1652 AD) at the site of the present day BIRT TIKENDRAJIT PARK near the proximity of the Kangla and exited till 13 August 1891.
