I don’t have any boys, I have 2 daughters who are older but I’m debating on building on or these for myself! You guys killed it!
Go for it, it’s addicting and so much fun
And my friend I also have two daughters older have a 14-year-old boy He's into trains and transformers but I build dioramas model railroad layouts Don't worry if you don't have any small kids because we are all kids at heart brother so build it it's fun it's relaxing you'll have a lot of fun
Where did you get the buildings and is there model railways in 1:64
I'm 11 yrs old and I can craft a 1/ 64 scale city or town or district IDK
I only have 2 children, 1 boy, and 1 girl. My daughter never liked dolls and she loved Legos and Hot Wheels as a toddler.

My son and daughters and I would go into our basement and play with miniature model cars, 1/24 scale or the full size G.I.Joe dolls/figures, when soldiers were discontinued and “adventure figures” hit the market like “Explorer, Diver, etc. I’m 70, they’re in their 40’s and we still reminisce about those days. Great job!!!!

Off subject sort of. My Dad was Mounted patrol in South Philly Fairmount Park. He bought me all of the Johnny lighting and AFX tracks and Hot wheels. He like them more and played with them more than I. He hated that I played with Gi Joes though. Lol. Sadly, My Dad passed in '74. but I enjoyed doing the same with my own sons! We still play with slots cars!!!

This whole thing is awesome. As a 46 yr old man I would be down there at least once a week playing with this town. Once spring hit, I could then go play in the real garage outside lol.
Pretty cool! One of my cars is a Race Red Ford Focus ST Stage 3 with factory black stripes and when I saw the dinky version at Logan's house that was pretty cool too. I will have to keep an eye out to try and get one.

Very awesome awesome dioramas lots for your kids to do I build dioramas myself just finished one a 21/2 by 6 ft but I do run a train Ho scale on it keep up the great videos bro

Start with a table and a few buildings you know you want.

Amazing collection, and all of the realistic diecast cars, none of the cheapos or weird fantasy cars. Love the Fox body dealership, probably because I have two real ones and way too many toys and models of them.
I’m big time against that those aren’t allowed in my house. Lol.

Nice little town. The $200 add on Highway Bridge piece well worth it. Things I didn't see fire station, post office, School, Church-graveyard,. Overall nicely done

Hi I like to say I think it's awesome that you do things with your son's I've been collecting cars for over 30 years I grew up in the vehicle City Flint Michigan I was always wanting to do that with my son's but they had other interest fishing camping deer hunting we did take them to the hunter safety course I was pretty impressed with what you've done for your children keep up the good work I just wanted to write you a little note I really enjoy the setup thank you and have a blessed day with you and your family

I'm so happy to finally see the town back. I've missed the videos on it. You have really inspired me and a few weeks ago I bought my first diorama. Love the videos and keep it up.
Awesome town. The new set you got is worth 200. I just started to build a HO train lay out and paid that much for the scene kit that makes the hills grass trees etc. Who makes the buildings like logans house? You all would love the choo choo barn in strasburg, pa. One of the best layouts i ever seen. Got a house catches fire and the fire truck pulls out from the station drives to the house n puts water on the fire. Think the open back up in march.

There all deferent brands, Hotwheels Premium, DCP, Auto World, Johnny Lightning, Greenlight, mini GT, Tomica…sure there’s some more Brands I’ve missed.

Worth every penny. Look at that Littmans face. It's something he will tell stories about for his lifetime. There is no price tag worth not paying for because as a dad we do what Evers necessary to please our kids.
Just subbed, I'm in the process of my own project but with my collecting and modifying and customizing it's a slow go. Anyway your purchase is well worth $200 the buildings alone make it worth the cost. The highway and overpass are great additions and building blocks for your set up. I know this is all about the town but what is a town without a train. I would consider adding atleast a stationary train tack or dead track. All those buildings you need a firehouse!

Mark Vicker, back in the day he had a lot of stock of old DCP stuff but they don’t make them anymore. I see them on eBay every so often but people are crazy on them prices.

This is the same scale as S scale trains. So I would add the new Lionel S scale train layout and make this even more fun to operate.
The lighting is so epic! I love the flickering neon effects!
Such a cool diorama. I would add either a lake with water or an airport. What about a train. You could recreate the train scene from the first F&F movie. Great job.

My dad built me and my brother a wooden “train city” that had a train run through it and had a race track in the middle, it was a wooden table and not as detailed and intricate as your city. We grew up watching Nascar which is why he made a racetrack in the middle of the city. It was one of the biggest highlights of my childhood, I am 29 year old now, Navy Veteran, and I STILL have all my cars from the city, around 2,000. What you’re doing for your son is great, he will grow up with fond memories just like I did!
Hey JD and Logan. That's the most amazing diorama I've ever seen and it just keeps getting better. Y’all have some good ideas, especially the one Logan came up with at the end. Mustang crowd control with dashcam footage would be awesome. Haha. JD, that new setup with the highway and bridge overpass is very realistic. I'd say 200 dollars would have been a good deal in the 80s, but today it's an absolute steal of a deal!👏👏 And for sure, you have to get a roller rink. Thanks for sharing. I have two boys. My oldest will be 3 in a few months and my youngest just turned 1 a couple of months ago. I have spent the last year buying up all sorts of Hotwheels and Matchbox cars at 1:64 scale and today began my first day of researching 1:64 scale models, sets, and figurines. I want to create these kinds of memories with my sons and my wife too and I can't wait to get started, but I do know that it's a slow grind...I can't wait. Thank you sir, for this video. You inspired me today and gave me some ideas going forward. And so it begins!

I’ve got a soon to be 4 year old daughter who loves all of my old Hot Wheels, this video has given me the itch to start building something similar!
It will be truly awesome if you and Logan would build a diorama of Manhattan well, not the whole city of it but also it would be net to build the Lincoln tunnel under the hutson river. You can have a gopro running inside that Lincoln tunnel I, would think that will be a killer to do that.

This is amazing... I love how you dont glue down the cars like they do on model railroads... My grandfather has a model railroad and when i was a kid i used to move the cars around... He never once glued anything down on his layout... I love how you do the same... My mom always tells me to stop buying diecasts lol but this is amazing... Great work man!!!

It's really cool. This is the kind of relationship I wished I had with my father when I was a child. We could have created something together. But the sixties were a different generation; different time. I have some items for a build of my own, but I am having some health issues right now, so I don't know when I will be able to get to it now that I'm 62.

No Hospital, and I’m with you on the relationship with your father, I didn’t know who my father was until I was 7.

Gahd, that very last segment when the IROC broke down got me a good chuckle... But when the Mustang wiped out into the crowd, I spewed my dang coffee all over my monitor!
I really love how you and your son spend time together I spend time with my dad, playing hot wheels and matchbox Sometimes too it reminds me of me and my dad it never gets old my dad was thinking of making a tunnel outside for me and he did that when he was a kid
