As a metal head, this band was my gateway into K-pop. I like some other songs by other bands, but I find Stray Kids has the most pleasing, impressive discography as a whole. I would recommend God's Menu, Thunderous, Domino, Vermont, Freeze, Back Door, 🧀 Cheese, Miroh, or if you like it a little more experimental try Tortoise and the Hare. I'm interested to see what your take is on their other songs!
I came from metal too, and groups like Stray Kids and Ateez just changed the way I listen to music. They really make me so happy every time I listen SKZ, every little sound, every beat, just perfection.
I just got introduced to Stray Kids and (K-Pop) a little over two weeks ago and I have been blown away by them. They’re so unique and their music is exciting and energizing. I cant get enough! I also discovered ATEEZ within the last week. They’re fantastic as well! Never in a million years did I think I’d like any K-Pop music, but here I am completely obsessed with SKZ 😂 Their music makes me ridiculously happy.

That deep voice guys name is felix. Stray kids are very unique group. I would suggest listening to "God's menu," "thunderous" and if you want more rock sounding then I'd go for "time out." You won't regret getting into this group.

Stray Kids do actually have a pretty big label supporting them. They're with JYP, one of the biggest companies in the Kpop industry. However, JYP supports them in the sense of training, housing, funding, promotions, sending them to shows, etc. while Stray Kids themselves pretty much handle their own songwriting and producing.

Hi! I'm so glad you liked what you heard! Stray Kids is an 8 member group hand picked by their leader, Bang Chan (blue hair) under JYP Entertainment. While JYP is a large company, the way Stray Kids is built and run is unusual. They are fully involved with every step of the production, the vast majority of their music written, composed, and even arranged by 3racha, their in team producing unit Comprised of BangChan, Changbin (in the green), and Han (big hat!). Their choreography and stage design often has input from their dance unit Comprised of Lee Know (purple hair), Hyunjin (red hair) and Felix (trademark for the low voice). Their vocal unit is the two youngest members Seungmin (he's the one with lines about cosplaying as a normal person and cutting the seams of the dolls) and I N who has the Pre-Choruses. Some song recommendations i have are Miroh, Side Effects, Double Knot, Back Door, Thunderous, Domino, Venom, and Freeze. This will take you through a few eras for them. Don't be surprised when you see a 9th person in the line up of the older songs. That's Woojin. He left the group end of 2019 because of "personal reasons" after some unsavory allegations (which were determined to be false) came up and he also seemed to be on rocky terms with the other members. We may never know the full story there. It's a bit of a sore subject and Stay (Stray Kids'fandom) feels very strongly. Regardless, Stray Kids is incredible and well worth the time it takes to get to know them!

The first vocalist you liked was I.N (full name: Yang Jeongin) and he is the youngest of the group (only 21 if I remember correctly) I also find his voice so unique and pretty! Felix catches another one, lol! Stray Kids are awesome!! as others have mentioned, they are self produced. They are under JYPe as their lablel, but unlike most kpop groups, Bang Chan got to pick all the members and has pretty much full creative control. Chan, Changbin, and Han make up the producing line (and pre-debut rap unit) 3Racha ,who if you like rap, just dropped a banger called Heyday for a dance crew show. God's Menu, Thunderous, Back Door, Domino, Easy, Venom, Freeze, Victory Song (probably the deepest I've heard Felix go). Lot's to choose from, and they are dropping a brand new album on Oct. 7!

Stray Kids is an extremely talented group. The fact that they are self produced is amazing, and ALL of their songs (I lost count but they have more than 130 songs in their discography now) are great. They have a unique style, and while all their songs are different, you can always tell it’s Stray Kids. I recommend Thunderous, Secret Secret, and Venom, but I just picked 3 randomly; as previously stated, they are all good.
They are very very.... very high energy lol, which I really enjoy as they don't tone it down, especially Changbin and Han (the main 2 that rapped here). I believe Changbin at this moment is currently the official fastest rapper in Kpop, with Han pretty close behind him. Also, all 8 members both rap and sing, and do both very very well. They're signed with JYP, which is one of the big 3 K-Pop labels in South Korea. **Fun fact; Bang PD used to work for JYP Entertainment before leaving in 2005 to form Big Hit Entertainment. Stray Kids is almost entirely self written and self produced. Their label is JYP, which is one of the original Big 3 companies, but JYP would much rather concentrate on their girl groups and leave their boy groups to their own devices. Stray Kids leader (Christopher) Bang Chan was a trainee there for 7 years. Eventually he and two of his friends, (Han) Jisung, and Changbin started writing and producing songs for fun and putting them up on the internet. When JYP’s CEO found out how popular these posts were, he figured he should be getting paid for them, so he basically let Bang Chan hand pick the members for a group through an Mnet survival show called Stay Kids. Chan picked 8 additional members, including his writer/producer friends Han, and Changbin, and also Woojin, who was an a**hole and couldn’t get along with the rest of the group so he left. And now they are the cutest little family of crazy people that can also sing, rap, produce beats and write songs real good.
@@manarm7395 have you seen the video where SKZ is playing some game, like hide and seek or tag or something and Woojin starts to beat up Felix and Chan comes to his rescue and literally throws Woojin off of Felix. As Bang Chan stands protectively over Felix he gives Woojin this look of utter loathing. And I knew from that moment that Stray Kids wasn’t big enough for both Bang Chan and Woojin, and it was only a matter of time. Because I have been a Stay since they released Hellevator, and I was there for all the drama, so I can pretty confidently say that Woojin was an a**hole.

Having JYP as their company didn't really do much good for them as far as popularity is concerned. Their music is heavy in EDM and hiphop, and for a long time that was just too far outside the comfort zone of a lot of kpop fans, so much so that they earned the title "Noisy." They dedicated an entire comeback to that, which is both hilarious and inspiring. I'm really glad you're checking them out. They have a lot to offer.

One of the things I like about them is that they are self-produced group. 3RACHA is a sub unit within SKZ made of 3 members (Han, Bangchan, Changbin) who are the producers (from beats to lyrics) of SKZ. They made 98% of their whole discography. Also, as I said, even tho they have sub units (vocal, rap, dance), they all are insanely talented. For example, Han is one of the main rappers but could be a main vocalist eside Seungmin. He usually sings the hardest and highest notes in their songs. You can see that in the "i'll be your man" performance from kingdom. If you will check it out (i hope you will), he is the second singer.

StrayKids DO have one of the big 3 companies supporting them, but that is irrelevant, because they are, as a group, self-made. >They debuted with JYP Entertainment, but Chris (Bang Chan, their leader, main producer, and Resident Aussie #1) was given partial authority over their training and full authority over selecting the group members. >They were part of a survival show to determine who would ultimately debut in the group, and in the end, every single member Chris chose debuted. >When they performed for their CEO and other higher-ups in their company to prove they were ready to debut, their CEO, who had been hands-on in the formation of all JYP's other groups, didn't even know that all the members are all-rounders, and was horrified that Chris had written their predebut song Hellevator in a female key, even though it was written with the vocal range of Han, their rapper, in mind. Chris got properly scolded for playing to his members' strengths by someone who had no knowledge of their capabilities, and it made me mad. >Chris, along with 2 other members (Changbin and Han) make up 3racha, StrayKids' production team, and they write and produce 98% of their music, the other 2% being done by other members and the occasional feature or producer. >LeeKnow, whose falsetto you really liked, and Hyunjin, who has the bright red hair, are responsible for a lot of the choreography. >They do almost everything aside from videography, costuming/makeup and directing.
Felix is the voice you are talking about. His range is unreal. Recommended songs: Gods Menu Back Door, Easy Double Knot and the first one I ever saw, that made me follow them... Side Effects. .
Felix is the one with the very deep voice. They're fantastic. You should Check out TOP Japanese version (it's the tower of God opening, but the japanese version has the most amazing video) its one of my favorites. And also thunderous and circus. They are from JYP like Black pink, who said no big label?? And also Sony international... I mean the promotion, the money were no problem.. Anyway, I've heard all good about them too. But I must be honest I only listen Bts, I've looked at some others, randomly.. And of course all have great voices(singers for me it's more complex) and rappers too. Still... the first impact being the mvs, although spectacular, for me most of them are too much.. Make me dizzy, I can't identify who's singing and don't really vibe with the lirics in general. Also I don't like the idea of too much in principle (the same goes for American artists/debatable :))

If I could suggest any songs by Skz it would have to be The tortoise and the hare and Side effects. TTH is my #1 song by Skz. Gods Menu is one of the most popular I would say. Hellavator is their Pre debut song and it’s how I found them in 2017.

The 1st guy you like is BangChan or Chris, the leader. The deep voice is Felix. They're both Aussie. Please check out *God's Menu* it's a Banger and you'll like it.. i promise. This guys are insanely talented.
They are actually from one of the big 3 labels, JYPE, but they're self-assembled and self-produced. The blue hair guy that you said stood out in the beginning is Bang Chan aka Christopher Bang (he grew up in Australia), he trained for 7 years and was so well respected in the company they actually asked him to pick the other members himself. They made their predebut song Hellevator and the choreography for it and went through a survival show. They're 8, you counted 7 which was correct because Han (the guy in the white hat) was injured and couldn't dance in the MV. They produce and write their own songs, come up with their whole lore which would take days to explain, Chan also helps the other producers from the company with the arrangements of their songs for the final take and while they do all of this they put out a crazy amount of content for the fans, they have shows, covers, they participate in idol programs, some have been MCs, Chan does a vlive every week for the fans to have a safe place to talk, they model for a few brands and have like almost 150 songs out in barely 4 years, they also have subunits like the producer/rap line 3racha who put out their own songs too. Also, if you ike Felix's voice you might want to check out Venom and God's Menu. I'd also recommend Thunderous and Cheese, but it would be nice if you knew a bit more about them before you listen to the songs and watch the MV because if we were to explain everything those lyrics are about and all the lore it'd be enough to write a whole book XD
Felix has the deep voice, I am Army but I started to listen to other K-pop groups because of Bts and Stray kids are one of my favorites. You should check out Got 7 and anything by Jackson Wang.
Personally I am not a fan of StrayKids however they are talented. I think like parts of their song but not from start to finish. Their are some awesome parts, but most of their songs from start to finish aren’t for me… Edit: From my understanding their are a couple of members who do most of the producing and writing. Hey this is my first time on your channel, I highly recommend you check out the "Quick and Helpful Guide to Stray kids 2021 edition" if your wanting to learn more about them and their individual personalities, their are 8 members in total and they are managed by JYP entertainment company but the Stray Kids produce their own songs and write their own lyrics, they also have a big hand in their choreography as well as their concepts for their combacks. All 8 of them are what we in the kpop scene would call Aces! Which basically means they are all rounders, they are all incredible at dace,rap, and singing/vocals. You upopped up in my recommendations bc of STZ. The first singer with blue hair is the leader Bang Chan (Christopher) who is an Aussie and he actually selected the member for the group which isn't a thing in kpop groups. The deep voice is Felix, the one you see running along the rooftop, he is also an Aussie. I love seeing the reactions when people first hear his voice. The two rappers you saw are Han (white hat) and Changbin. But let me just say, they ALL can rap, every one of them. Han and Changbin are usually the main rappers. The one at the end of the video with the drill is Lee Know and he is a trained dancer and used to be a backup dancer for BTS. They are very sweet guys and loves their fans. They even have two songs they wrote for their fans, STAYS. I would recommend, Thunderous, Freeze, Vemon andI can't forget, God's Menu. That was the very first song I heard of theirs and I was hooked ever since.

yessss i'm so glad you're checking out skz! i was so hoping you would at some point. these guys are incredible, you won't be disappointed. i find them extremely refreshing from what we find in kpop usually-- i'm also a guy who's huge on "risky" or "experimental" music production choices. they produce their own music as well, so that's always a big plus for me personally. i don't want to bombard you with information lol, but you definitely need to check out more. i recommend god's menu next since it's iconic. it's the song that introduced me to stray kids-- very high energy and a lot of fun musically! i think you will enjoy it. i'd love to see you do a similar thing with their music as you've done with BTS! their lyrics are a lot of fun to dive into as well. you'll find that stray kids are a much different flavor than BTS is, and have very stand out energy.

As a metal head, this band was my gateway into K-pop. I like some other songs by other bands, but I find Stray Kids has the most pleasing, impressive discography as a whole. I would recommend God's Menu, Thunderous, Domino, Vermont, Freeze, Back Door, 🧀 Cheese, Miroh, or if you like it a little more experimental try Tortoise and the Hare. I'm interested to see what your take is on their other songs!
I came from metal too, and groups like Stray Kids and Ateez just changed the way I listen to music. They really make me so happy every time I listen SKZ, every little sound, every beat, just perfection.
I just got introduced to Stray Kids and (K-Pop) a little over two weeks ago and I have been blown away by them. They’re so unique and their music is exciting and energizing. I cant get enough! I also discovered ATEEZ within the last week. They’re fantastic as well!

Stray Kids do actually have a pretty big label supporting them. They're with JYP, one of the biggest companies in the Kpop industry. However, JYP supports them in the sense of training, housing, funding, promotions, sending them to shows, etc. while Stray Kids themselves pretty much handle their own songwriting and producing.
And in return they have since taken JYP to #1. Win win.

Stray Kids is an 8 member group hand picked by their leader, Bang Chan (blue hair) under JYP Entertainment. While JYP is a large company, the way Stray Kids is built and run is unusual. They are fully involved with every step of the production, the vast majority of their music written, composed, and even arranged by 3racha, their in team producing unit Comprised of BangChan, Changbin (in the green), and Han (big hat!). Their choreography and stage design often has input from their dance unit Comprised of Lee Know (purple hair), Hyunjin (red hair) and Felix (trademark for the low voice). Their vocal unit is the two youngest members Seungmin (he's the one with lines about cosplaying as a normal person and cutting the seams of the dolls) and I N who has the Pre-Choruses.
Some song recommendations i have are Miroh, Side Effects, Double Knot, Back Door, Thunderous, Domino, Venom, and Freeze. This will take you through a few eras for them.
Don't be surprised when you see a 9th person in the line up of the older songs. That's Woojin. He left the group end of 2019 because of "personal reasons" after some unsavory allegations (which were determined to be false) came up and he also seemed to be on rocky terms with the other members. We may never know the full story there. It's a bit of a sore subject and Stay (Stray Kids'fandom) feels very strongly.
Regardless, Stray Kids is incredible and well worth the time it takes to get to know them!

The first vocalist you liked was I.N (full name: Yang Jeongin) and he is the youngest of the group (only 21 if I remember correctly) I also find his voice so unique and pretty! They are under JYPe as their lablel, but unlike most kpop groups, Bang Chan got to pick all the members and has pretty much full creative control. Chan, Changbin, and Han make up the producing line (and pre-debut rap unit) 3Racha ,who if you like rap, just dropped a banger called Heyday for a dance crew show. God's Menu, Thunderous, Back Door, Domino, Easy, Venom, Freeze, Victory Song (probably the deepest I've heard Felix go). Lot's to choose from, and they are dropping a brand new album on Oct. 7!

Stray Kids is an extremely talented group. The fact that they are self produced is amazing, and ALL of their songs (I lost count but they have more than 130 songs in their discography now) are great. They have a unique style, and while all their songs are different, you can always tell it’s Stray Kids. I recommend Thunderous, Secret Secret, and Venom, but I just picked 3 randomly; as previously stated, they are all good.
They are very very.... very high energy lol, which I really enjoy as they don't tone it down, especially Changbin and Han (the main 2 that rapped here). I believe Changbin at this moment is currently the official fastest rapper in Kpop, with Han pretty close behind him. Also, all 8 members both rap and sing, and do both very very well.

They're signed with JYP, which is one of the big 3 K-Pop labels in South Korea. **Fun fact; Bang PD used to work for JYP Entertainment before leaving in 2005 to form Big Hit Entertainment. Also, he received his nickname "Hitman Bang" from his time spent at JYP.**

Not surprised that you picked out Felix, that voice is hard to miss. 😆 You also noticed Bang Chan though (the first vocalist, with the blue hair and the crop top, lol), which made me smile, as he's my bias in SKZ; he's also a huge fan of BTS. There's a compilation somewhere of him talking about them, and how they "paved the way". He talks about how he looks up to Namjoon and his style of leadership, as he's also the leader of his group. He also comments on how even though him and JK are the same age (and friends), how he sees him as currently being the top K-Pop idol; how he's just good at everything...which we all know. Stray Kids is almost entirely self written and self produced. Their label is JYP, which is one of the original Big 3 companies, but JYP would much rather concentrate on their girl groups and leave their boy groups to their own devices. Stray Kids leader (Christopher) Bang Chan was a trainee there for 7 years. Eventually he and two of his friends, (Han) Jisung, and Changbin started writing and producing songs for fun and putting them up on the internet. When JYP’s CEO found out how popular these posts were, he figured he should be getting paid for them, so he basically let Bang Chan hand pick the members for a group through an Mnet survival show called Stay Kids. Chan picked 8 additional members, including his writer/producer friends Han, and Changbin, and also Woojin, who was an a**hole and couldn’t get along with the rest of the group so he left. And now they are the cutest little family of crazy people that can also sing, rap, produce beats and write songs real good.

@@manarm7395 have you seen the video where SKZ is playing some game, like hide and seek or tag or something and Woojin starts to beat up Felix and Chan comes to his rescue and literally throws Woojin off of Felix. As Bang Chan stands protectively over Felix he gives Woojin this look of utter loathing. And I knew from that moment that Stray Kids wasn’t big enough for both Bang Chan and Woojin, and it was only a matter of time. Because I have been a Stay since they released Hellevator, and I was there for all the drama, so I can pretty confidently say that Woojin was an a**hole.

3Racha (three-ra-cha) is a pre-debut rap subunit that consisted of Bang Chan (who is now the leader of SKZ), Changbin (my bias ;p) - awesome rapper but also sings, and Han - awesome rapper/singer (all rounder) - they produce/write almost all of their discography and they also released a bunch of songs on Sound Cloud before they debuted as Stray Kids. They also have a channel on YT. They still release music that the 3 have done but under Stray Kids now. I suggest We Go and Heyday (Prod. by Czar) - Heyday was just released super recently.

SKZ has 8 members - all of them can dance, rap and sing but they still have a rap line (Hyunjin, Felix, Changbin, Han), vocal line (seungmin, i.n, bangchan, lee know), dance line (felix, hyunjin, lee know). One of the things I like about them is that they are self-produced group. 3RACHA is a sub unit within SKZ made of 3 members (Han, Bangchan, Changbin) who are the producers (from beats to lyrics) of SKZ. They made 98% of their whole discography.
Also, as I said, even tho they have sub units (vocal, rap, dance), they all are insanely talented. For example, Han is one of the main rappers but could be a main vocalist eside Seungmin. He usually sings the hardest and highest notes in their songs. You can see that in the "i'll be your man" performance from kingdom. If you will check it out (i hope you will), he is the second singer.

StrayKids DO have one of the big 3 companies supporting them, but that is irrelevant, because they are, as a group, self-made.

They are from JYP like Black pink, who said no big label?? And also Sony international... I mean the promotion, the money were no problem.. Anyway, I've heard all good about them too. But I must be honest I only listen Bts, I've looked at some others, randomly.. And of course all have great voices(singers for me it's more complex) and rappers too. Still... the first impact being the mvs, although spectacular, for me most of them are too much.. Make me dizzy, I can't identify who's singing and don't really vibe with the lirics in general. Also I don't like the idea of too much in principle (the same goes for American artists/debatable :))

The 1st guy you like is BangChan or Chris, the leader. The deep voice is Felix. They're both Aussie. Please check out *God's Menu* it's a Banger and you'll like it.. i promise. This guys are insanely talented.
They are actually from one of the big 3 labels, JYPE, but they're self-assembled and self-produced. The blue hair guy that you said stood out in the beginning is Bang Chan aka Christopher Bang (he grew up in Australia), he trained for 7 years and was so well respected in the company they actually asked him to pick the other members himself. They made their predebut song Hellevator and the choreography for it and went through a survival show. They're 8, you counted 7 which was correct because Han (the guy in the white hat) was injured and couldn't dance in the MV. They produce and write their own songs, come up with their whole lore which would take days to explain, Chan also helps the other producers from the company with the arrangements of their songs for the final take and while they do all of this they put out a crazy amount of content for the fans, they have shows, covers, they participate in idol programs, some have been MCs, Chan does a vlive every week for the fans to have a safe place to talk, they model for a few brands and have like almost 150 songs out in barely 4 years, they also have subunits like the producer/rap line 3racha who put out their own songs too.
Also, if you ike Felix's voice you might want to check out Venom and God's Menu. I'd also recommend Thunderous and Cheese, but it would be nice if you knew a bit more about them before you listen to the songs and watch the MV because if we were to explain everything those lyrics are about and all the lore it'd be enough to write a whole book XD

Hey this is my first time on your channel, I highly recommend you check out the "Quick and Helpful Guide to Stray kids 2021 edition" if your wanting to learn more about them and their individual personalities, their are 8 members in total and they are managed by JYP entertainment company but the Stray Kids produce their own songs and write their own lyrics, they also have a big hand in their choreography as well as their concepts for their combacks. All 8 of them are what we in the kpop scene would call Aces! Which basically means they are all rounders, they are all incredible at dace,rap, and singing/vocals. You upopped up in my recommendations bc of STZ. The first singer with blue hair is the leader Bang Chan (Christopher) who is an Aussie and he actually selected the member for the group which isn't a thing in kpop groups. The deep voice is Felix, the one you see running along the rooftop, he is also an Aussie. I love seeing the reactions when people first hear his voice. The two rappers you saw are Han (white hat) and Changbin. But let me just say, they ALL can rap, every one of them. Han and Changbin are usually the main rappers. The one at the end of the video with the drill is Lee Know and he is a trained dancer and used to be a backup dancer for BTS. They are very sweet guys and loves their fans. They even have two songs they wrote for their fans, STAYS. I would recommend, Thunderous, Freeze, Vemon andI can't forget, God's Menu. That was the very first song I heard of theirs and I was hooked ever since.

yessss i'm so glad you're checking out skz! i was so hoping you would at some point. these guys are incredible, you won't be disappointed. i find them extremely refreshing from what we find in kpop usually-- i'm also a guy who's huge on "risky" or "experimental" music production choices. they produce their own music as well, so that's always a big plus for me personally.
i don't want to bombard you with information lol, but you definitely need to check out more. i recommend god's menu next since it's iconic. it's the song that introduced me to stray kids-- very high energy and a lot of fun musically! i think you will enjoy it.
i'd love to see you do a similar thing with their music as you've done with BTS! their lyrics are a lot of fun to dive into as well. you'll find that stray kids are a much different flavor than BTS is, and have very stand out energy.
