Omb has been gradually getting “lame” for lack of a better word. Season 1 was hands down one of the greatest things Netflix has every released. Season 3 was lacking something, idk what but it really didn’t hit the same

Monse and Spooky’s kiss highlighted Spooky’s loyalty to Caesar. You could tell by their eye contact that he was attracted to Monse, and yet he choose to end the kiss. He also told Ceaser about it immediately. It highlights how much Spooky values his relationship with him and gives us greater insight into just how strong their relationship is as brothers.
i remember season 1 could've been an end to the whole show. they weren't sure if they were going to have a 2nd season, so we could've ended the whole series not even sure if it was ruby or olivia to this day i'm hoping that's not the case though. i can appreciate how season 3 ended since friends do fall apart, but i want to at least know why or how they got there... like ruby looked pissed as hell at jamal when he was walking by him lol, i need to know what's going on with them, they were besties man
A lot of the shows being cancelled either had female leads, LGBT representation or both....😐 Not all of them, but enough to raise eyebrows. 🧐 Edit since a lot of people like mansplaining to me: I'm talking about the good shows, not whatever crap y'all are watching
That's because they push a false narrative instead of actually being good They focus on "Oh it's a woman/Trans in the lead we are so different and diverse" instead of actual talent, same with African American based shows. They don't make them based on talent, they make it based on diversity
Because a majority of those shows are forcing a narrative rather than just making a good story. What does if matter if the lead is female or lgbt? It only matters when they try to base the show strictly on that premise and it ruins 100% of all shows
Nah they cancel shows whether they are good or not, diverse or not, it's simply because Netflix doesn't want to let shows reach a full ending cause the ending may annoy people reason why bojack got cancelled as well as many other great shows
Wtf I’m so confused maybe I’m a dumbass but I hated how spooky went off and had his happy ending while completely leaving his brother in the neighborhood like- huh 💀

Ok but on a real note...seriously watch the show, it’s one of the best shows Iv ever watched.
WILLOW DOESN'T *GO* DOWN
THAT'S WHERE I REGOGNIZE HER FROM
Monse and Spooky’s kiss highlighted Spooky’s loyalty to Caesar. You could tell by their eye contact that he was attracted to Monse, and yet he choose to end the kiss. He also told Ceaser about it immediately. It highlights how much Spooky values his relationship with him and gives us greater insight into just how strong their relationship is as brothers.
Jamal, Abuelita and Jazmine’s backs must hurt from carrying this show
i remember season 1 could've been an end to the whole show. they weren't sure if they were going to have a 2nd season, so we could've ended the whole series not even sure if it was ruby or olivia to this day
i'm hoping that's not the case though. i can appreciate how season 3 ended since friends do fall apart, but i want to at least know why or how they got there... like ruby looked pissed as hell at jamal when he was walking by him lol, i need to know what's going on with them, they were besties man
Ruby: "What are you looking at"
Abuelita: "Dicks, just kidding. I don't do that at the diner table"
I love that line
A lot of the shows being cancelled either had female leads, LGBT representation or both....😐 Not all of them, but enough to raise eyebrows. 🧐
Edit since a lot of people like mansplaining to me: I'm talking about the good shows, not whatever crap y'all are watching
And yet....they still wont cancel cuties
That's because they push a false narrative instead of actually being good
They focus on "Oh it's a woman/Trans in the lead we are so different and diverse" instead of actual talent, same with African American based shows. They don't make them based on talent, they make it based on diversity
Because a majority of those shows are forcing a narrative rather than just making a good story. What does if matter if the lead is female or lgbt? It only matters when they try to base the show strictly on that premise and it ruins 100% of all shows
ruins 100% of the shows that do it*
Nah they cancel shows whether they are good or not, diverse or not, it's simply because Netflix doesn't want to let shows reach a full ending cause the ending may annoy people reason why bojack got cancelled as well as many other great shows
I didn’t realize until half way that the VPN part was sponsored content
Wtf I’m so confused maybe I’m a dumbass but I hated how spooky went off and had his happy ending while completely leaving his brother in the neighborhood like- huh 💀
I feel the same way.
Nobody:
Abuelita: Ha-mal
cackling at "Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars" comparison bec. it's so accurate
3:28 They have a dream catcher because the ending was a dream. Brett Gray Tweeted(Remember when Biggie said ,
”it was all a dream”?) Jasmine has a dream catcher in her room as well
th-cam.com/video/7Y8VPQcPHhY/w-d-xo.html
Song by Biggie. The first line when he stops talking and starts singing is
“It was all a dream”
Jamal and Jasmine stay best characters, while Cesar and Monse stay the worst
And I honestly don't get why people like Oscar.
People love to love bad guys, especialy is they have a sad back story
Oscar and Jamal stay the best while Cesar and Moonse are still the worst.
And I honestly dont know why people like Jasmine
@@xadielplasencia3674 I like Jasmine since season 1.
she can be a bit much... But she's always there to help here friends when they need it, even when they don't want her her around. She's proud of who she is and most of the time gives good advice. She's Self centered with out being selfish.
@@darryljack6612 And I like Oscar since season one too, he is an scary dude, not the best morally speaking, but he cares a lot about his little brother, whom he raised, and his friends.
He is sweet and kind if you get to know him, and gives the best advice in the series.
Plus, he is not anoying, I know Jasmine has changed, but I cant see pass season one in her character, honestly a bad first impression ruined her for me.
@@xadielplasencia3674 I get what your saying, Oscar is a deep character, i can acknowledge that. He's 3 dimensional and i love his turn around at the end of the recent season, and its ok to like his character.
But there was that 1 little thing, where HE BASICALLY LEFT HIS YOUNGER BROTHER TO DIE!
First time Ceasr came to him begging and pleading for help, Oscar turned him away because of gang loyalty, and this is after time and time again roping his brother into a life style that is bound to get him killed. That ruined his character a lot more for me than a teenage girl being annoying.
The audacity that Netflix had to cancel The Society
And that too After announcing the second season
And i am not okay with this
@@HELLO_KORO Same
@@Catlady_plays_the_sims lowkey the show had Heroes potential

Jamal definitely carried that season🤗
Those sponsor transitions were smooth
LISTEN. This sounds like a good show.
It is a great show that I watched way too many times to count lol
@@lilzshow9357 it really is! Same goes for me I honestly don't remember how many times I've watched it. All ik is that it's a lot
@@x.kdm.x shit I might watch it again very soon it isn’t nothing better to watch
@@lilzshow9357 do it I did. It’s definitely worth it. Although I’m depressed now from that ending.
@@user-uc5xg9le2c yea I know I really hope it. Gets renew for another season
monses picture of everybody behind all of her books and pencils.jamal and ruby walking past each other without a hello showing how distant theyve grown was the worst for me
Spooky is so handsome. I actually cried when I saw the end.
Same
Not the Will Smith "Why don't he won't me?" overlay lol
I’ve been waiting for this video for forever
Lol he said “...Lil’ Krillin..“ hahaha, perfect reference 👌🏾 😂 😆
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE WHOOOOOOO
Abuelita knows *EVERYTHING*!
I have never clicked so fast in my life. I missed you ❤️
I forgot about how much I loved this show 😭💙
Bro what if abuelita was one of the leaders of the Santos 😳
Honestly I can see it
The way we’re all in agreement about Jamal being the best. It literally not even because of him being comedic.
I f-wording dislike Netflix for canceling The Society 😤👊
@@samanthaarias727 Cool. But I’m talking about The Society.
Why did they?
After announcing to us and the actors that it’s been renewed. 🙄🙄🙄
Yesss😭❤️
@@mirandakurtz6522 covid, the cast and crew was too big that getting testing for everyone would be too expensive and i guess the show is not popular enough to offset the cost
This show had the best transitions!
When I say I LOVE Oscar 🤤😭 it’s the subtle vulnerability for me
I have been waiting for this! The end made me angry and I cried so much
Damn bro u really took ur time releasing this review😂
I like the ending for Spooky...that one can really escape the bonds of gang life!
“Listennnnnn “ asmr
Finnaly ive been waiting
Jamal staying my favorite till the end
They filmed this show in my neighborhood and I have no idea what it was about. Thanks for helping me out.
Yesss, i been waiting for this one!
FINALLY IVE BEEN WAITING MONTHS FOR THIS
the ending was ahhh.... like they went through all that shit together and they forget eachotherrrrrrrr ... monse mann.
This show was so realistic though.
Yesss I’d be so here for a Jamal & abuela spin off 😂
I didn’t realize the picture was in a jasmine frame cause Jasmine’s not in the picture 😂
Season 3 really was a fever dream
Man, season 3 of OMB was one of the first binges at the start of the pandemic. With all the stuff I watched since then, pretty much forgot what happened. Hoping for a season 4. Still pissed at Netflix for cancelling The Society.
I hate that i discovered this show in such a bad time in my life because i love the show sm but it just reminds me of that time :(
First of all Jamal back must hurt from carrying the show since season 1. He is one of the many tv sons I have lol. And secondly Spooky's ending was the best part of ths season for me because he got the happiness he deserved and the life he wanted. BUT CEASER DONE PISSED ME OFF YOOO; If I was him I would've left with spooky to create a better life cause this ain't it bruv. But then again we don't see the events that lead them to this in its entirety, we all seen Ceaser creeping more and more into this life, and being consumed. I really do hope we get more explanation on the way season 3 ended, and YES Abuelita got some shit up her sleeve, she been around the block a few times and is playing dumb, but Abuelita the real G in here.
That Oscar moment with Monse is UMMMMMMM
On my block season3 is one of the worst things I have ever seen in my life
I'm soo glad you finally did this video
Im calling it, everything after ruby was shot is a dream. he was in a coma and it was all a dream. IM CALLING IT!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the music between the cuts, so cute
I did feel like Season 3 was entirely rushed and sometimes felt a lil off and missed. Ppl talking about Cesar joining the gang I honestly seen it coming. His entire attitude in season 3 was just more rough and aggressive, oscar and monse leaving definitely could have tipped that iceberg
Finally he’s done another video about one of my favourite Netflix shows and shows oat
Netflix was waiting on yalk, to make a video on season 3 they should announce season 4 and second now 👌
“Looking like lil Krillin”🤣🤣🤣
