As a ridiculously huge Nine Inch Nails fan, I have to say how excellent of a cover this is. You've captured the original's essence and made it your own at the same time. This is beyond words
This song is seriously underrated. It’s the song that got me into NIN. Heard a piece of it somewhere and I remember desperately trying to find out which band it was.
One of my fav songs ever too omg I was like 13 when it came out. My family was so poor I couldn't afford cds or a boombox and all I had was a cassette Walkman and one of my friends made me a copy of what all could fit. Then my parents split and I had to move away. And I listened to that tape til it got all warped. I lived with headphones on. Then I bought the cd as soon as I could when I finally got a job and stuff and now i still have them in my car for road trips lol
This is one of my favourite songs ever too. This song was a song that I shared with my best friend when we were teens. He committed suicide a while back. I miss him horribly. Hearing this makes me cry, but in a good way. This helps me remember him for all the good times we had together. Thank you so much for this
Definitely one of the best NIN songs... and it's funny to see the guitarist play this so calmly. As someone who's NOT a guitar player, in my head you'd be assumed to play this angrily. He's so calm (and good). I wonder if he makes an angry face when he's doing boring shit, like taxes or something.
the song is pretty simple (not a bad thing), usually guitarists make stanky faces when either the song is really difficult or you get really into it (like at 1:55 and 2:20)
I've played this song on guitar for about 20 years. The wall of sound on it is more symphonic than destructive. As a guitarist, playing this song is like pointing a BFG 9000 at your own demons. A rally cry for life. You wanna see a guitarist get the rage face, March of the Pigs and it's insane 5/4 timing is where it's at 👺
HOLY CRAP DUDE. *DO MORE OF THIS PLEASE* This is the solution to your past video of feeling crappy about TH-cam etc. I do not comment like this usually, but I hope Trent sees this. You did an amazing job Anthony.
Oh... my... God. NIN and Tesseract are two of my absolute favorite bands, The Fragile is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I've been consistently floored by your vocals since the first time I saw one of your videos. This cover... had absolutely everything I could want. If this is a sample of what's next, I am beyond stoked to hear your upcoming original content.
The first time I listened to NIN was because I wanted to take a Nirvana CD from the library, but mistook NIN for NIR (everything was labeled on the side with 3 letters) - my lucky 12 y.o. self. This cover really brought me back, what a great performance!
@@LunatiqHigh I got my first NIN record in my school library about 13 years ago. 😁 Found it looked interesting and took it home with me. changend my life 😁
What a pleasant surprise and you can really sing like him let alone add your own epic vocalizations. And Acle with the Guitar, badass! You guys did an INCREDIBLE job I tell ya, INCREDIBLE! Thank you for this so much! One of my top favorites of Nine Inch Nails as well!
Truly nailed it. You captured the spirit of the song and still made it your own. The Tesseract guitarist crossover is pretty damn awesome! Keep up the awesome content.
I am so stoked you did this song, Huge NIN Fan here. I know doing "in the style of" videos isn't necessarily your jam anymore. But I've tried convincing a friend of mine (who's a music teacher no less) that Nirvana songs would make excellent Beatles songs for years now. Is there any chance you would ever do a Nirvana song or medley in the style of the Beatles?
If I didn't know better is say from that performance Anthony wrote this song. So well studied and performed. Acle nailed the ambiance and "wall of sound" moments
I have so many favorite songs and this one is one of mine as well.. such an underrated NIN song, and you guys nailed it. Probably one of the best NIN covers I've seen. Everything was perfect. Well done
Damn, probably my favorite cover since Creep in the sound of Deftones. Love it, can't wait to hear more NIN if you do post more. Trent Reznor is my favorite artist of all time. I love your vocals
I had to go listen to the original after listening to this a few times, because holy fuck did you nail Reznor's iconic sound in this cover. It's legitimately awe-inspiring. Kahney is fantastic too.
It sometimes so happens that bands you used to be a huge fan of when you were younger are not your thing anymore. That's not the case with NIN. Once a Trent Reznor fan - always a Trent Reznor fan. Great cover!
For real I never listen to NIN for vocals, Reznor only fascinated me with his production. This is the first time I've heard NIN in a way, and its a lot to process... fucking awesome video. I am impelled to mention a similarity I feel between Lateralus era Keenan and this performance. Not so much in the technique but in the motivation. Emotiv... motive is the real hook in any good singer, they can have all the honey or gravel an ear can handle but if that heart dont ring they can't sing...
Thank you for this Anthony. That really took me back, it brought up some good memories. I just had my 7 year old daughter head banging, and asking me to play it again.
Absolutely LIT this song on fire. I'm a huge NIN fan, and I've gotta day, this is a massive accomplishment. NIN isn't exactly easy to cover, especially with live artist. Kudos.
Who is ready to hear an original song of mine produced by Acle on Friday?

Absolutely agree! 👏
It's awesome
My thought exactly. It comes from the place of love 😍
Couldn’t have said it better myself
Couldn't agree more. This emotes that original Reznor emotion that exists nowhere else.
You fucking nailed it. Really got that NIN sound on the vocals
He Nine Inch Nailed it
@@dopey473 lmfao. Sure fricken did 😂👏
Love this, so much talent, incredible cover of a great song
This song is seriously underrated. It’s the song that got me into NIN. Heard a piece of it somewhere and I remember desperately trying to find out which band it was.
this song got me into NIN too, back in 2012
I discovered NIN with this song when the first Avengers trailer came out in 2011.
One of my fav songs ever too omg

Can we hope for an Anthony Vincent feature on the new Tesseract album? 😅
NIN was the band that got me heavy into music, playing instruments, etc. thank you guys a ton.
Nine inch nailed it. Its one of my favorite song from them too.

I make an angry face when I do my taxes. 😠
@@TeleClassy2 it looks like im weirdly talking to my guitar when a song gets hard, i always just call it communicating haha
Acle pretty much always plays like that. Some hair whips while leaning forwards but that's usually it lol
I've played this song on guitar for about 20 years. The wall of sound on it is more symphonic than destructive. As a guitarist, playing this song is like pointing a BFG 9000 at your own demons. Great work but my God man nothin can beat that piano outro at the end I can listen to that on loop for hours
Seeing Acle's name in the video made it an instant watch, what an incredible opportunity! Congrats man, this turned out awesome!!!
Truly Beautiful!!
Amazing simply Amazing
HOLY CRAP DUDE.

Getting music from a library? Damn, all our local library's suck. lol. No music in ours at all. It was meant to be :)
@@LunatiqHigh Yeah, it was really great. Although, you had to pay like 20c to borrow it for mote than a week, but they had quite a lot.
