It was worth watching your video to see Daisy....I thought she was a musical automaton made out of a taxidermy dog...LOL Thank God! She is a real dog and what a beauty.
I think that the black and white ducks are actually loons. It's a water bird with many unique calls. One of their calls is the wail. It's a haunting call that is often used in movies and TV shows, to make a scene eery or cheepy, or a little scary.
On both the clear glass paperweight and the purple glass pitcher you said they had defects - those are open pontil marks which helps you determine that the glass was hand blown on a punty and then broken off. It’s a good sign to see that! Not a bad sign. Hand blown glass has a good market so I would keep an eye out for that but make sure to learn the actual difference between a pontil mark and real damage so you don’t make mistakes and then blame me 😂. Good luck!
lol I appreciate it. I know of pontil marks on bottles but did not consider that they were on paperweights and pitchers but it makes sense. Glass is a newer area so I am learning as I go and one way to learn is to make mistakes. Going to do more research on that for sure .
I get like that when someone shakes jewelry boxes and very small boxes from jewelry stores. Cannot tell you how many things I found broken when I was reselling.
My late husband his name was Thomas - Tom. He was a sweet man, happy person, loved life, hobby was woodworking, avid reader- read anything he could get his hands on, did a crossword daily, very smart man, loved my nieces and nephews but yet never wanted any kids. I had that reindeer punch out set that I decorated my classroom with. The red yarn was used to string the reindeer and sleigh together in a line. I think I bought them new in the ‘80s from the Current card company.
Hi Dominic 😎 this was another TOP NOTCH video 💥🔥 my favorite was the little lucite paperweight 🌼🌸🌼 and your running commentary is always amusing so thank you for all the work you put into an estate sale video 🎉 💯🔥💗
I see someone must’ve already set you straight on the railroad spike, lol and you identified the loon by the end of the video. Liking your videos. Nice to see some picking in Central NY. You missed the Halloween die cuts on the table when you were checking out the loon cane. Vintage Halloween decor is getting to be a big seller. Just keep your eyes peeled. Give Daisy a pat for me.
Thanks. Didn’t miss the Halloween due cuts though. I talk a lot about sourcing vintage Halloween items including die cuts. Have picked them up in many videos. This one was just the pumpkin though and not that old which is why I passed. I like to get them in lots unless it’s a rare single like a Boris Karloff Frankenstein. Will say hi to Daisy
The ephemera stuff was fab! Good buys! There looked to be a bud vase near the ant box you got that looked interesting but I am not a glass expert by any means!
Yup! I looked at it but it seemed too modern for me. I will pick up some bud vases but it needs to have something that will grab my attention more such as color, quality when feeling it, and maker and material. Not a glass expert either but I'm learning.
I believe that the classic movie, "On Golden Pond," featured a lot of loons. They are fascinating birds, with the most "haunting" bird call. (Just some movie trivia...these people surely loved them!) That pink ceramic cradle w/stork was a vintage floral design piece. It would have been delivered with flowers in it to the mother of a newborn baby gIrl...probably named LISA.
How long do you usually spend at a estate sale ? There are quite a few rooms to browse through Doesn't look like many people there either Hugs for Daisy She's a cutie pie 💖💜 🇨🇦🦩
Some of the older boxes are worth maybe $25 others aren't worth much. It seems like the older ones with nice graphics bring more. I noticed last year the people were decorating with light and hook boxes. @@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter

Maybe you could put a "SOLD": sign on the side of your box to keep it safe while you are shopping,
Yup, I do sometimes and you’ll see that in some videos. They still go in lol. That’s why I have the Prime Time stun gun lol
The flatware! Definitely a large set.😮😮
For sure!
The Danish thing looks as if it is a postal box for a door.
Good call! I think you nailed it! Now packages makes sense!
❤❤❤
I’m ready! 🎉
WOOT WOOT!
Yay, first estate sale of the year!🤗
Fun fun!
Thanks! Apparently, I should have watched On Golden Pond. :)
How long do you usually spend at a estate sale ? There are quite a few rooms to browse through Doesn't look like many people there either Hugs for Daisy She's a cutie pie 💖💜 🇨🇦🦩
Usually a few hours. This place was out in the middle of nowhere and I try to fil, when there are not too many people around
The Tom spike is a railroad spike, not a wood splitting wedge!
See my top comment. True, but they are used for wood splitting.
Awesome video Dom! Love the addition of the "Primetime facts " lol 🤣🤣
lol just wait till the next video. I need to correct some silly blunders lol
@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter nice!! Can't wait! Still waiting on a bloopers video! 🤣
@@ericlongo5020 the next one may be the closest to it lol
I’m in the rewatch crew, looking forward to it
Thanks Robin
the flowers are hand colored babies breath in lucite,,
Thanks. I was told they are straw flowers. Did identify them twice in the vid as lucite though 😃 never heard of babies breath so thx
There was what looked like a Christmas hook box in the dollar box. Christmas collectors value those boxes. You might want to pick some of them up.
I’ll go back and take a look
Some of the older boxes are worth maybe $25 others aren't worth much. It seems like the older ones with nice graphics bring more. I noticed last year the people were decorating with light and hook boxes. @@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter
There was a piece of white/off-white cloth (in bin at bottom of screen @13:21) that looks like needlepoint cloth...may have belonged in that bag with the threads and instructions.
Thank you Dom, looking forward to this....!!!
See you there!
I loved the movie The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. WoW! Brought back memories of my younger days.
Such a classic!
Great video, I just subscribed. Good tour and explinations. Thank u
Thank you for bringing some positivity. It’s definitely most welcome, especially on this video. Welcome to the primetime family.
