That's how it had to be. But I got it from a modding site since the files aren't the same and don't know about converting. (Actually I expected someone to do this for me. Unfortunately) The game natively supports objects/cars as in nfs2. (like TREX, SOU 1-3, LOG, BOX, BEER, CART, OUTH, CRAT) I just had to implement this (via cheat engine). Trex was just one example of this. and I think the release version supported too. I could have been a trex in this version. But I didn't see the need.

"Stop Your Car" This announcement happens in psx version. It would be cool if this sound stays in full version

It's also in full version. For this you have to use "Bullhorn" cheat code.
Would be nice to have it enabled all the time though.
