As other comments have pointed out, you need a demon altar for crafting the boss summons. But to be fully transparent, there is one on the map, it’s just considered part of the “cheat” island for completionists and I decided to not use it in this playthrough
Yeah, that corrupt grass setup should have worked as far as I know. Plants do grow faster on the surface. Kellam rants about the best place to get herbs being the underworld due to block scan mechanics, but it's not a huge deal and a few things break that mechanic..... Fishron. It's a tough fight here man. I admit I didn't bother with that boss in my playthroughs. As for Mechdusa, she's genuinely not tough. The health of each boss is lower and they're movement is tied up. I suggest hard focusing the twins. Depending on the weapon, the destroyer may get taken out by collateral damage. Prime is the weak point that drags down the other two, so save him for last.
The old man spawns regardless of if there’s a dungeon, it’s just a pre-set location tied to the world save. The map doesn’t have a dungeon by default, but does have blocks for one in a “cheat chest” that’s intended for completionists
Wait a second, How did you get access to the band of regeneration? The wiki only says you can get it in chest loot, and doesn't mention any fishing crates where it would be included.

@@thenarwhalmage in legendary mode, "Mimics spawn. They drop the same loot that Underground Chests would contain" (official wiki) you probably missed the first episode where this was explained
Not quite. It's custom. TEdit let's you toggle specific secret seeds. Starvation from The Constant seed would be torture. The seeds technically enabled here are FTW, Remix, Celebration, and only technically Zenith. Turns out the majority of the effects unique to getfixedboi come just from having FTW and Remix both toggled on.

Shimmer is available instantly in normal worlds too, you can’t get rod of harmony until post moonlord

With the axe of regrowth, you don't need a full moon to harvest seeds
