Mono green is my favorite go to deck when i don't want to melt my brain playing pure control. It's such a fun deck that goes over the top of most decks. Great video.
are the triplets a tad win more? it's not a 4 power creature, but it seems like blossoming tortoise might be a good replacement in that it would help you ramp, bring your average cost down, put cards in the graveyard for paleontologist with raptor/stomper and even scrapgorger, and make the abilities on field/drannith cheaper
Overall, a very sturdy build. I can dig it. Also, I could see Llanowar Elves, Polukranos Reborn and possibly Goldvein Hydra being viable options in the near future.
I love those "Unstable" lands, only having a couple of them. I wish Arena would make those available more often. Yes, Smugglers is a fantastic card and there are so many interesting decks that don't overlap that you can make with it.
@@philippacollins1867 Arena has a card weighting and player tracking system that it uses to match up opponents. There is also a "hand smoothing" mechanic on initial hand and subsequent draws. There are times where it just decides you need to lose and it will weight the match accordingly. There are other times where it knows you need a win. Types of opponents you will face depends largely on the deck you are playing. For example: playing a creature dependent deck? Great! You're going to see every iteration of removal and sweepers out there.
@@severianthefool7233 both. About a month ago another MtG creator, I forgot her name, posted a breakdown of how it works in the brawl format. WotC has admitted to the hand smoothing, but not to the extent that it impacts games.
@@severianthefool7233 Both. Wotc has talked about having such systems in their game before, like just very recently when a player figured out exactly how all the Commanders were weighted and thus rigged. But wotc obviously doesnt just outright come out and say these systems are in place because they want to force 50/50 win rates while making it feel as organic as possible. Instead, they swear its to provide players with better play experiences and such bs.
I love mono green too. I have a very similar deck but running a Ghalta stampede tyrant with Smugglers surprise is broken with the card draw from the vaultborn tyrants. Add four caverns for the blue white control decks 😂
The algorithm loves when you plays mono green because your opponent will always have the right removal. Go wide? They have board wipe. Try and slow play big creatures of course they have 3 go for the throats
The absolute minimum one needs for mythic is a 51% win rate. It doesn't matter how good or bad a player is, because as long as rng works and one is winning just 1 more game than they are losing, then anyone can eventually get into mythic. So, when I see mythic opponent players in Arena content creator videos make dumb af mistakes, I am not even surprised anymore. Some people make the joke that the youtubers are playing against payed actors and its funny, but the reality is just that mythic isnt that special.
@@yesnooo9029 it is weird. Every color has viable options to run mono, but green just suffers. Most decks only run it for ramp and a handful of creatures.
Smuggler surprise is the MVP. Letting big green play at instant speed is all it needed.

I literally lol'd at that Depopulate lmao
Sweet list. Green is getting better and better
On 6 or 7 games with montage everything can look good or better
This deck is going to pop off in November when Llanowar Elves becomes legal in Standard via Foundations
@@Ggollly I've been dreading that. I can't stand the Historic elves builds. Now it is coming to Standard.
Smuggler's Surprise made green good again.
Llanowar will replace scrapgorger, and for this rotation, swap stopper for polukranos and boomb plus all the spice we are sure to get eventually
Vaultborn Tyrant is such a crazy card, so much card draw and lifegain
Love this! Green life 4 ever!
love green these days! surprising that you were surprised when the black removal deck had a bunch of removal :p

@@BlobZombie NOT THE ELVES! ANYTHING BUT THE ELVES! THEY'VE BEEN A SCOURGE IN HISTORIC FOR TOO LONG.
Smuggler's Smuggling is going to have people saying I can't wait until it rotates.
Smuggler's Surprise is SOOOO strong. Building several lists for Bloom that are based around it. It just wins! All 3 modes are great.

Love seeing it!
Mono green stompy is almost always under rated
Lmfaooo -Zoom- "it sure is".
Good video man, awesome deck. Hate the cringe black discard deck, right now, love to see it get thrashed.
27:39 made me scream lmaooo
Almost rotation proof for this rotation and the next DAMMM!!!
Love it. Do you think the Nissa Planeswalker has a place in there or too slow?
It might have been me you ran into on ladder lmao I've been playing a similar mono green deck for a little while now
Is this rotation proof ? Love monogreen thanks you to play some !
I love that the match fixing in Arena is predictable at this point.
Can you tell me more about match fixing and what you mean ?

This is an awesome deck! Any suggestions for a rotation-proof replacement for Topiary Stomper?
i just build it on mtga... im having a blast. winning alot!
I'd like to see Stomper cut for 2 polukrano's and 2 gold vain hydra
Almoat curious if it wasnt me you played on ladder lol
I love your decks but seriously is every card a rare ?? Not possible for me to try 😢

Uhh tyvar's stand? 1 mana hexproof & indestructible & optional +x/x
27 lands with all that ramps nope

this game is for losers that all have hive minds following youtubers that cant even make a deck if untapped wasnt around
You lost to a netdeck, didn't you?
