    this vs your 250r video, looks like cornering the honda is easier for you than the kx. But the kawi looks alot more fun to ride imo

    Is this KX a good bike for a beginning/returning rider who has not ridden a motocross bike in 40 years? :)

      @CasMoto  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Man, that's a tough one...If you rode the wheels off 125 two strokes with all rev, then maybe! But for the average rider there are easier 250F's to ride smoothly and re-learn the basics: Rm-Z250's a good choice for the price and YZ250F's have been hard to beat for a few years. Cheers

      @@CasMoto There is a $1K rebate now on KX's though!

      @@AOL0321 Go with the green one! Haha I'd recommend +1 on the rear sprocket and lighter spring rates if you're under 180lbs and just getting back; they're great bikes, especially with a deal like that. Can never go wrong with a new ride

    Which do you like better, the RMZ-250 or the KX-250? I’m a shorter rider just getting back into riding again.

    • @CasMoto
      @CasMoto  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Cockpit on the RM-Z250 is better for shorter riders, but the Kawi has very adjustable ergos as well...All comes down to two things: Do you like to rev or short-shift? And is kick starting a big deal to you. That's it! The KX250 revs much higher and is great for intermediate and up riders, where the RM-Z is good for beginners and those okay with staying lower in the revs. Each has suspension tailored to heavier riders (180lbs.+), so factor in springs if you're on the lighter/smaller side. Both fun bikes, can't go wrong either way. Good luck deciding and enjoy whichever you choose👍

    Did you notice any slight popping/backfire on deceleration?

    • @CasMoto
      @CasMoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not so much with the green coupler, but a little with the white coupler. More rider error than anything, as I was downshifting and using lower gears to make best use of the Kawi revs.

    What changes from KX to KXF? A hug from Brazil.

    • @CasMoto
      @CasMoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Brazil! KX250 is the new branding model title from Kawasaki; it's still their premium four stroke MXer. Just replaces the KX250F name of old. Since they do not manufacturer two strokes anymore, it kinda' fits...Cheers

    What gear were you hitting most of the jumps in?

    • @CasMoto
      @CasMoto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Perris MX is a slower/tighter/technical layout, so 2nd and 3rd gear for most jumps is common👍

    Is this the fastest 250 you’ve ridden out of the 23s ? You feel

    • @CasMoto
      @CasMoto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      KX250 and 250SXF are the fastest I've ridden to date! Maybe a little less off the bottom than others, but fun for more advanced riders. Cheers

      @@CasMoto what coupler did you prefer? White ,green or black?

    • @CasMoto
      @CasMoto  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ryangalbraith7080 Green (stock) was best for me. White (lean) is peppy and aggressive, but has additional engine braking and almost a lean spot. Black (rich) was too mellow for my size. Cheers

    Faster then the Yamaha?

    • @CasMoto
      @CasMoto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In the top-end and over-rev, yes, it's faster than the YZ250F. Faster and usable are two different sensations though! Cheers
