2017 & this still is not dated. Freddie was EPIC, he coulds say, do, and dress anyway he wanted. As soon as he opened his mouth to sing you got lost in his song. Just like he did. The man was pure magic.
I so agree with you- And his voice and piano in this concert? Blew me away- Melancholy Blues was Awesome..Freddie could outplay so many concert pianists- including me, who studied at Julliard in NY.
@krautfranz .... This next song is dedicated to everybody here in the auditorium from way out there to right down the front so keep yourself alive .....
Rami Malek pulled a prank on Ben Hardy with this song. Rami got the stage crew to tell Ben Hardy that Roger wanted Ben to play this drum solo. For those who don’t know it, Ben had never played the drums before, and lied to get the part of Roger. He only learned what he was supposed to learn, including only the first verse of Keep Yourself Alive. Ben was terrified
These guys were extremely talented. I'm a Classic Rock player and finding anyone that can produce those vocals is next to impossible. However we played a lot of Rod Stewart tunes over the years, From Shapes of things to Maggie Mae to Do You think I'm sexy. The last few Rod Stewart and the Faces concert seemed like Rod was losing it.
@@Wardell43 - The Yardbirds song "Shapes of Things"?! And Rod covered it?! Or, are you talking about a different "Shapes of Things"? Cuz that's the only one that I know about. Of course, I could be mistaken. But I doubt it! Lol!
@@jfseal38 Hmmm Good Question!! Let's see, we were talking about If we cared if being possibly gay overshadowed someones musical talent. And I mentioned Rod Stewart's singing "Shapes of Things" and you think Rod Covered it??? Hmmmm, that's a tuffy! Can I call a friend??
They're a perfect band that's it.
this initial drums...oh my god!!!!
Edney Marques very horsey. Reminds me off Roger's Whisperers song
Man, this is an extraordinary version. Houston overall was apparently a great gig for them.
The audience was so quiet..uptight? What did they expect? Houston we have a problem- Your not rocking with us...Houston, you've just made history...
@@tatianaroveda it's a Soundboard recording, thats why you cant hear the audience, only the band members
This is how rock and roll is done.
The drums sound awesome.

I cannot understand what Freddie says in the introduction
"This next song is dedicated to everybody here in the auditorium...
So keep yourself alive!"
krautfranz from way up there to right down the front
"From way up there, to right down to the front"
Nosebleed to front row. Freddie made sure he let all of Queen's fans know that he appreciates and loves all of us.

Their gayness almost overshadows this truly all time epic song...lol

+Robert Couch Freddie was bisexual.
