This ost represents Vegeta's joy at finally reaching new levels of power after stagnating for so long. Him killing Cui, who was always his equal, made him realize that he has just taken the first step closer to his life goal; to defeat Freeza and reign supreme as the universe's strongest, as he was destined to be.
Definitely more fitting than the Teq ssj Vegeta's big bang attack. Achieving ssj out of pure jealousy, and simply toying with 19. At least here you can say it's heroic because he's finally rebelling against the Frieza Force and he took notes from Goku and the others so it's his first instance of "good" albeit when he's still not a good guy
@@Aura404Speed Eh, still calling this a good act is a stretch. Especially when he's rebelling just to be superior and possibly start his own form of galactic conquest.
While all the "Vegeta's perspective" of himself does sound convincing for justifying the reason that this OST has been given to, specifically, this form of Vegeta, Namek Vegeta really didn't have a glimpse of real kindness or goodness in him, nor he found himself in the tessiture of acting "good" or "bad". His change to be a "better guy" only truly starts by the appearance of #19 and Gero. This is a Vegeta that killed many Namekians without hesitation and still had his most primitive cold-blooded Saiyan instincts running through his veins. In top of that, he was blinded by his frustration and rage against Frieza and his soldiers. To encompass all of that, a OST fitting more for a Goku/Gohan characters isn't proper to do the job. More grave, but without being fully villainous notes to the track would have been a better match. Needless to say, this OST is beautiful like many others 🙌🏼
This portrays Vegeta's delight in ruthlessly dispatching Cui very well, you can tell he's been waiting a long time to finally take him out. Vegeta's return may not be happy or triumphant for us or the heroes, but for him he finally gets the chance to strike back at the people he felt wronged by for years. This one is pretty catchy too!
I see fellas in the comment section trying to cope with the OST not fitting the character in this part of the story. Like guys it’s okay to admit that maybe the OST could be just a little bit more menacing or aggressive considering Vegeta is not on the good side, dying, or being emotional when literally blowing a dude up lol.
No you don't understand this is Vegeta's first act of good. Don't believe me? Well after this fight he commits another act of good by killing Dodoria. Then he does another good deed by killing...innocent Namekians.
Yeah, honestly the only legitimate way I see this making sense is that this was a super hype moment for Vegeta and this is essentially what plays as Vegeta goes “HELL YEAH!!” in his head lmao, but it’s still odd either way
I swear, what is it with Dokkan today on giving clearly still evil at the time Vegeta such Heroic OST’s, first it happened with Finish Skill 1 of LR INT Babidi, then it happened again with the active skill of this year’s Saiyan Day SSJ Vegeta, and then it happened again with this, like seriously???
Okay to be fair... Finish Skill 1 sounds "heroic" cause Majin Vegeta is breaking out of Babidi's control. *He then uses an attack that killed a bunch of innocent humans...* BUT I DIGRESS; it's a LITTLE BIT heroic cause he's free from Babidi. And with Saiyan Day...I mean, he practically became a good guy in the Arc anyway....minus all the people on the highway he killed, but still, he's very much a good guy at this point. This, though, is extremely weird. Like, I question the people who say the OST fits because he's "realizing his goal to defeat Frieza" or some crap like that...and then he killed literal children like shortly after this.
Jesus, and people said the LR Gammas' Finish OST didn't fit the moment. This doesn't fit the moment OR the character. Not that the track is bad or anything, I quite like it.
Is this ost trying to tell us there’s a bit of good in Vegeta??? nah Edit: i meant to say good and not food lol, but hey im sure he's been eating something at Namek
I hard disagree that this is too “heroic” this and Teq Super Vegeta’s Big Bang Attack are pure hype, Vegeta isn’t a good guy, but people love him so much even when he was a bad guy because no matter how many times he was humiliated, whenever he got a power boost his Ego Pride and Confidence/Arrogance would shoot up ten times as much. This OST is perfect for feeling like you’re the most powerful being in the universe, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
People are saying this OST is cheerful and doesn't fit? Nah, it's pretty clearly a "done putting up with your crap all these years and about to blow your ass up" OST, triumphant as hell. Vegeta's having the time of his life destroying Cui and sparking the true onset of his rebellion.

there;s always the video essay yapper at every dokkan ost comment section. Not complaining tho.

A bit too heroic for early-Namek Saga Vegeta, but hey. It's good music
It's heroic for his perspective. He was the Victor.

Thank god it's not a generic villain ost that's all I care about

I mean on Namek he basically killed all of Frieza Elite guards... EVIL Frieza elite guards
@@luckytia9076 Namekian: You freed us from Frieza!

I didn't realize how much i've missed these generic guitar osts lol
fr people complain about them but they are always solid 7/10s at least, don't need to be complex to be good

Somehow Some parts remind me of the LR TEQ Goku and Gohan theme but it sounds weirdly heroic, maybe it's heroic from his perspective lmao
I think people are misinterpreting this as heroic when it's really a comeback OST given the context. This was after he got his zenkai boost after all
