One of Kreator's best songs on the lyrics front is Love Us Or Hate Us,from their 1989 album, Extreme Aggression.
The opening lyrics are "DON'T TRY TO TELL US WHAT IS RIGHT FOR US,WE DON'T GIVE A FUCK ANYWAY"
You either have very low standards, have not read all of Kreator's lyrics, or have not been exposed/read lyrics by more more seasoned bands.

Each album is better than previous.
It's always aggravating that songs like this get left off of some versions. This is as good as anything on the album. Wish I would've had it as part of the album from the beginning.

Ok, first of all I'm not from Germany. (So there's no "your thrash metal" scenario). Next thing I wanna focus on is Teutonic Thrash Metal was not influenced by American Thrash Scene, 'The Big Four' in USA started in early 80's and so did German Thrash Metal bands like Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Tankard. So, they were pretty distinct and pretty unique by nature (Just enough distinct like American Death Metal and Scandinavian Death Metal scenes). So claiming that USA invented Thrash Metal is kind of idiotic, and doesn't make sense at all. Also, no one owns any music genre, it's everyone's to play.
metalmoshingmad777 If you wanna give credit for creation of Thrash Metal genre in particular give that to the NWOBHM bands. Most of the Thrash Metal bands were influenced by those bands. And, no, "Big 4" had nothing to do with the German scene. You can verify that. Teutonic Thrash Metal was always unique, anyone having a good ear for music can say that ONLY by listening to their music. It's not a competition about who invented what, I just want to say German Thrash Metal sounds so much better and so much alive than American Thrash Metal (particularly nowadays). It's like where German bands have gained their maturity over time, the bands from USA are just repeating things from 80's and 90's or have sold out.

So one of my friends was raving about this band and how awesome they were. I find this song. An interesting blend of Bay Area thrash and some NWOBHM. It's basically good, but for some reason, I just don't particularly like it. I think it's the riffing. It just seems a bit... meh. I dunno. Maybe it just needs to grow on me.
Listen to the whole Phantom Antichrist album. You won't regret it. Or if you're into something heavier, go for their 1986 classic Pleasure to Kill (whole album).
volimNestea well, i took a listen to some other stuff and the verdict is ... also meh. It's fairly generic speed-and-brutality-over-everything-else Slayer-inspired thrash. Not really my thing. I prefer a good mix of speed, brutality and memorable riffage. Exhibit A: Electric Rattlesnake by Overkill
x1StapleGun Well, you have a right to not like it of course, but I'm telling you, Phantom Antichrist a fucking perfect album, certainly not generic. And it has way more epic and memorable riffs on it than either Exodus' The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A or Overkill's Ironbound. You're probably right though. It needs to grow on you. It might be hard for you to get into, but once you do... Man do you have a band to listen to!
volimNestea yeah. A fair amount of extreme metal needed to grow on me a bit. Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse, for example. Or just Meshuggah in general. But I think what most bands perceive to be "proper" thrash nowadays is just a bit generic and not particularly inspiring, which means I'll probs never be truly accepted into the metal community. Case in point: I do not like Slayer. At all.
Remember though, this is a bonus track from one of their not best albums. The real album is better. The album that got me into them (I love them now) was Enemy of God. SO goood
