People who think hes a douche are the people who have never been to Italy. In america, yeah, he looks like a douche, but in italy everyone dresses like that. everyone has hair like that. Hes a typical Italian, and that's good. Its an italian brand. Even with this, he doesnt talk like a douche, hes humble, you can tell.
OMG, finally someone that now the truth! Yes, in Italy he is dressed normally, in Italy if you go out with sneakers and a t-shirt it means you are a loser without social life or... A tourist :D Try to go out in the night in Italy and al guys are dressed like him.
Yes you can tell he has a humble quality about himself. It shows in his passion for the car, it's like he's a kid in a candy shop, and the respect he has for Mr. Pagani himself. It seems he maintains it by reminding himself where he started from.
Well, i' m Italian and not everybody here dresses like that or show that kind of haircut, but it is very fashionable amongst the youngsters, i must say. Anyway, he dresses a bit like a douche, but it is just his style, plus i think he was really excited for that interview so he put his "sunday clothes" on. :))
Michael Dobak I don't know what everyone's issue is. He came across very humble to me, even a tad bit shy, but genuinely enthusiastic. A good looking guy to, and i'm straight. I think the haters really are just jealous.. how sad... smh
"Very important is the comfort of the car because I get in the car, I drive the car, the ladies get in the car, the sex is happening in the car, the ladies leave the car, new ladies come in the car..."
What a job. Like Balboni with Lamborghini. The guy probably doesn't even look at it like a job. He just gets to drive around in supercars and as a bonus, get paid. And this video reminded me: Nothing beats the interior of a Pagani, the Zonda or the Huayra. The style is just so pleasing to the eye. No other manufacturer has come close to the looks of the interior of a Pagani. And of course, the exteriors of the cars are amazing as well.
So often you hear stories of how legendary car people just walked in off the street looking for work (because they were drawn in by the cars they saw on the street) and were hired on the spot. I thought the days of landing a job with an exotic car manufacturer in that manner were long gone, this is amazing.
Pfff. An educated man, who is a great driver and a CHIEF of drivers in Pagani. This guy became the head of his department because he has passion for the cars, knowledge and he puts in the work, plus he obviously has analytical skills. He must have them if he works along with Horacio Pagani giving him feedback on how the car performs. Just because he takes care of his physical shape some of the ignorant shallow dumbasses think he is a douche. I am Engineer/Technician from Europe myslef. My English is not perfect, just like his, but it is more than enough to do my work. I have a masters degree in IT, and I also work out regularly because of health reasons. It is logical and wise to take care of your body, and it is simply nice to look good (as a side effect od diet and exercise). I dress moderatly, but if I go for clubbing I do like to dress similar to him. As I understand from the comments I'm automatically a douche, and a dumb person because of that. Jesus, some people are unbelievably stupid.
+Woodie7 They think he's a douche because he's cooler than they are. I hope I can be as cool as Davide one day...but I'm not a supercar test driver........or Italian.
It's offensive how immensely cool this guy is. To work from the bottom up to a point where you are a major part of developing such an incredible and respected car, and to find the time to go to the gym, get a tan, learn how to present yourself with style and flair, learn a second language, all while working in your dream job, bloody legend.
Seems like a great guy! So positive, happy and he seems grateful to have his job, he is a brilliant driver too, jealous! Stop hating on the dude, he doesn't deserve such negativity when he seems like one of the greatest test drivers to live!
Why is everyone hating on him? If you listen to what he says about the Pagani, he's very connected to the car. He puts his hand on the rear spoiler at one point, genuinely shows excitement when driving the car. At first he was scared, he showed his humble side. He asked to work for Pagani...finished school and came back, that's one hell of a promise. Drove the car everywhere, pretty dedicated, considering there are other cars which are comfortable he can choose. He was also talked about the composition of the car and realizes how every piece is important. It's not an inanimate object to him compared to other people who are wealthy and see it purely as a status symbol. I see an enthusiast here.
He has his dream job, he is humble and nice, he works out and dresses well (hes italian its natural there), he genuinly loves his life and haters hate because they just envy.
Honestly one of the best /Drive videos in a while. Very sick Intro, actually made it a vision of mine to replicate that intro hopefully 10 years from now. The topic was awesome, as well as the guy was funny and humble. Nice get an insight into such a fascination car company like Pagani.
The guy is having the time of his life...drives pagani all the time, goes to the shop and buy's all the best clothes and other gear...stayes clean and taned and jacked!!!
This is an awesome story. Seems like a cool guy. I did judge him at first because of his appearance but the guy worked his way up, loves his cool ass job, and does it well. Can't hate a man because of that.
I think one Area to Learn from this interview which is Extremely important. Most Sports Car makers are making Sports car's with a Lot Power and soon you turn "System's Off" MOST of Them they are UNDRIVEABLE . i quote When Testi Said that " we try to make the car as safe in all areas regarding of ( WITHOUT ) ABS Breaks , ESP Trackion control system , stability of car mid corner etc. so they test's the car to point that car is very Good Without THIS Systems and when you PUT ABS ,ESP , ETC the IMPROVE'S PERFORMANCE and gives confidence of Driver To FEEL "Connected" ... This very important all Sport Car when they being tested the Driver's they should focus more on this areas . Now in regards to Davide Testi Great guy, good energy , lots passion for what he does . very good
I hope kids in this generation can learn from this gentleman, things are not handed to you- you must work and earn your place in life. The guy mopped and became a builder and a driver for Pagani. Amazing. BTW- never knew the back end of the Huayra was soo pretty.
Yo, This Guy put in allot of time and money to get to where he is, and if you ask me ,he is very humble with the position he has. He obviously has money from what he does, so let the man wear whatever he wants. He deserves it.
haha, it's cool to see someone genuinely passionate about a car in a fun humorous way, then again, that car must make it pretty easy. Interesting story
I think that's the beauty of the car personally. A lot of supercars/hypercars use many computers to achieve their performance. The Huayra has mostly mechanical components, and since that's such a rare thing these days, I think Pagani wanted to emphasize that fact. Besides, look at that shifter!
What a dream job! Lucky man with a passion and an active will to seek out what he wants. Good on him! :) Great video by the way /Drive. Would have liked to see a few more bits of the car driving (like the outside of the car driving) but it works! :)
Why are all the top comments so negative about him? He sounded like a really humble guy loves what he does. He went from sweeping the floors of Pagani to testing their cars, he knows the ins and outs making a of Pagani, and loves what he does.
I see lambos, Ferraris, McLarens, R8s, GTRs, all the time. Hell I've even seen a Bugatti, but I have yet to see one of these in person. :/ hopefully some day
This guy seems like a genuinely nice guy. People insulting him clearly DONT HAVE A DAMN CLUE. In NO WAY was he a douche, arrogant or anything else. This is an awesome story of a local kid starting from the bottom of the company and working his way up to being a driver. Yes he was lucky to live in the neighbourhood but such is life. I question anyones people skills and ability to understand others if they think this guy is a jackass. Unreal. Great video. Nice and humble guy. Yes Europeans tend to have a bit more flamboyance than north americans...but so what?
"everyday is another day" -Davide Testi. Damn im jealous of this guy even if he isnt the sharpest tool in the shed. God damn can he drive like a boss though!
Much respect to a men that follows their dreams & makes them come true (Mr. Pagani & Davide). Really cool car, would love to have the opportunity to drive(or drool over) one some day, but way above of my pay grade! Lol
That car is a test mule that probably has hundreds of thousands of miles on it, it probably does creak all over the place, and not everything mounted on it production spec, I would wager. But it has the soul of the model and does what the others do, maybe without the refinement.
I guess that's been more of a camera/microphone problem. As far as i know the Huayra's chassis and monocoque are so rigid they used one single body multiple times for crash-testing due to registration in the US and Europe alone - without a single crack.
People who think hes a douche are the people who have never been to Italy. In america, yeah, he looks like a douche, but in italy everyone dresses like that. everyone has hair like that. what the hell nonsense are you speaking?

thanks for the good laugh
LOL

Just looking at the guy one would think he was from the Jersey Shore.
But seriously, a great interview with a guy who is living his dream.
Definitely....he seem like a good chap too.
Jeeeeez, what a job. True passion when a 30+ year old guy acts like a guddish little kid when around the car! LOL! Props to him
+Tyler Dowd *I'm 100% not homosexual*, but if I had to be a dudes boyfriend to save the world...he might be it LMAO.
cybertree L
Davide seems pretty down to earth and very passionate.Enjoyed his interview. The Pagani Huayra interior is very pleasing to the eye:)
Why is everyone hating on him? If you listen to what he says about the Pagani, he's very connected to the car. Really like how he worked his way up, learning each aspect of the cars production.
Great piece. That Huayra is one of the most beautiful vehicles to come out in a long time.
I still dream of the hardcore drive he did with the Zonda 760! That was absolutely epic and man, the sound of the Zonda 760 is just WOW!
The Huayra makes a nice cup holder at 2:09 haha.
Everyone wishes they had such a luxurious cup holder in their life...
+Nick McMillen Hahaha, i caught that too!
what a bad ass story just meeting some one with a bad ass car and than bam you get to work for them making some of the most awsome rides in the world.
the intro is perfect!!!
JF and/or whoever has really got it right with the whole video. perfect
Will Barber.. Not me
He has his dream job, he is humble and nice, he works out and dresses well (hes italian its natural there), he genuinly loves his life and haters hate because they just envy.
anyone would be fit when their only priority for the day is to drive a supercar haha. YOu have alot of leisure time
Beautiful video, insane cars, fantastic man!
Honestly one of the best /Drive videos in a while. Very sick Intro, actually made it a vision of mine to replicate that intro hopefully 10 years from now. The topic was awesome, as well as the guy was funny and humble. Nice get an insight into such a fascination car company like Pagani.
Davide your a legend mate, very humble and hard working guy making his way up, always gets a thumbs up from me. FORZA Davide.....
goes to show it pays to be a gentleman, and never be afraid to ask questions, great interview.
I admire his little story, I hope I get lucky like that when I grow up
The Huayra in the back at 2:08 makes a great cupholder.
+Tristan Thilen or a coke holder in this case
Excellent video guys, Davide seems like a really nice bloke too, great to see someone who appreciates his good fortune, and enjoys every day of it.
His name and his job, funny coincidence.
KrisTiasMusic lmao
The guy is having the time of his life...drives pagani all the time, goes to the shop and buy's all the best clothes and other gear...stayes clean and taned and jacked!!!
Seems like a genuine guy with a love for his job, respect!!

What a absolute legend. He's like a big kid in a candy store. If you saw him you'd think he'd be a prick but he's a really lovable guy
Very nice interview ,I actually met davide testi and horacio pagani they are very nice and humble people I look up to. Nice video.
What a great story and humble guy! Loved his story, would love to meet him.
What a great job! Pagani's cars are works of art.
been a while since i watched a DRIVE video, cool.
What's everyone's Dream manufacturer to Test Drive for ? I'm going to have to go Pagani or Ferrari. All though lambo would be epic as well.
Chevy :D
BMW, Porsche, or Ferrari, those are my favorites and any of them would do!!
Definetly Pagani, i guess ferrari would be okay too but i think the lambos are a bit 'meh' in my opinion
I prefer Koenigsegg better then Pagani to be honest
Ric Rac HAHA Brilliant!!
Pagani is one of the best handling car because of Davide 's input.
The smirk on his face when he's behind the wheel!! I evny!
That guy is humble as fuck! Awesome to see jobs like that with sane people with their feet on the ground!
Awesome Drive! Hope to see more videos like this! Both Koenigsegg and McLaren seems to have cool test drivers.
Best job ever?
I don't know. The job is awesome, but Pagani is known to be very strict.
Not really. Failures happen in all jobs, but imagine, how to tell your boss that you might have crashed a brand new car which is just finished
He didn't wait for his job to come to him, he went out and got it.
Man I envy his job. Good for him and lucky. This guy worked his way up. Great video
Yo, This Guy put in allot of time and money to get to where he is, and if you ask me ,he is very humble with the position he has. He obviously has money from what he does, so let the man wear whatever he wants. He deserves it.
Thanks for the vid Drive.
One of my favorite car companies
Just got my first test driving job! Can't wait ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
He is test driver for Pagani and he is Italian which by definition, makes him cooler than everyone else. Fact.
haha, it's cool to see someone genuinely passionate about a car in a fun humorous way, then again, that car must make it pretty easy. Interesting story

What an awesome story!. He has such a good job, also, he's swag as fuck.
Arguably one of the best jobs on the planet. At least if you like beautiful, powerful machines and the thrill of piloting them.
What a dream job! Lucky man with a passion and an active will to seek out what he wants. Good on him! :)
Great video by the way /Drive. Would have liked to see a few more bits of the car driving (like the outside of the car driving) but it works! :)
Passionate, gentle, educated. Pagani is very good in selecting his associates.
Why are all the top comments so negative about him? He sounded like a really humble guy loves what he does. He went from sweeping the floors of Pagani to testing their cars, he knows the ins and outs making a of Pagani, and loves what he does.
One hell of a lucky dude! Good for him, this is living!
I like this dude a lot he's cool as hell. Looks like he's made some gains as well
I see lambos, Ferraris, McLarens, R8s, GTRs, all the time. Hell I've even seen a Bugatti, but I have yet to see one of these in person. :/ hopefully some day
He seems like a really nice guy!
To get such job you need to be at the right place in the right moment!
A love story, etched in carbotanium and Italian passion!
Que maravilla debe ser estar todo el día probando y disfrutando de estas maravillas :)
seems like a very nice chap. not even mad that he's living the dream.
He'd be a great guy to have a beer with.
Haha love the Cola can @ 2:10 inside the air scoop or whatever that hole is!
Mr. Testi is such a humble man with such an epic job.
...of course I am sure he doesn't see it as work.
This guy seems like a genuinely nice guy. People insulting him clearly DONT HAVE A DAMN CLUE. In NO WAY was he a douche, arrogant or anything else. Started from the base, now we here
What an awesome guy! Great video!
This dude has the best job in the world. I'm just putting that out there.
i really like this guy im happy for him
Excellent JF, thanks.
Amazing video
good to see some decently long videos
the title of this video should be "The Pagani Test Driver - an interview with an happy man"
"with a happy man" would be more appropriate.
"everyday is another day" -Davide Testi.
Damn im jealous of this guy even if he isnt the sharpest tool in the shed. God damn can he drive like a boss though!
That guy is freaking cool. Very positive and passionate.
P. S. I wonder how many miles he has done in his Huayra!
What a badass guy, you can tell he´s really enjoying his job! But then - who wouldn´t?
This was good and just look at the thumbs up's..!
You guys should do this more often.
How many stories do you have like this?...what a lucky guy. Great story.
You drive the best cars in the world, Mr. Testi
Gotta love the Italians, such passion in what they do haha
DanielHardStylahz oh hi mr danielzz :D
What an absolute legend!!
Very lucky guy, talks about just meeting Mr. Pagani in the opposite street, then ends up working for him! Extremely jealous
Sweet job!! Hard work pays off
I LOVE YOUR JOB MAN...
Where did he say he went to school? I like his story, starting from the bottom and eventually having one of the best jobs in the world.
Much respect to a men that follows their dreams & makes them come true (Mr. Pagani & Davide). Really cool car, would love to have the opportunity to drive(or drool over) one some day, but way above of my pay grade! Lol
Post what you company you would test drive for, mine would be Koeingsegg or Pagani
seems like a great guy
I don't think I'm a fan of all that CF in the interior. I swear I could hear it creak when they were driving.
That car is a test mule that probably has hundreds of thousands of miles on it, it probably does creak all over the place, and not everything mounted on it production spec, I would wager. But it has the soul of the model and does what the others do, maybe without the refinement.
Shame on that matte colour though. I don't think it looks good kn this car
I guess that's been more of a camera/microphone problem. As far as i know the Huayra's chassis and monocoque are so rigid they used one single body multiple times for crash-testing due to registration in the US and Europe alone - without a single crack.
themaxproof correct, same tub in 17 crash tests.
Bois Franc R.C Looks terrible on this car xD It is a nice car with the right paint job though.
This guy has the nicest job in the world !
I want pictures of the beginning as he's walking to the car! Any links?
Great stuff ! What a job!
Does the engine come put-together or does Mercedes ship their AMG engines to Pagani in parts?
I don't know his skills but his name suits the job perfectly :)
what a cool, humble guy
That was a great video!
Very nice guy, Respect !
