ZONEofTECH did you test the anker charger? I just e-mailed them couple of days ago to ask about the chargers and they said they can't provide fast charge to an iPhone. This is what they said: "Sorry to let you know that we do not have a suitable wall charger and portable battery which could recommend for you now since new iPhones need the USB-C PD charging and Apple uses the encryption charging techniques for this device, we could not make sure that if our products will be compatible with and fast charge them now, hope you could understand."

had mt s7 edge for 1 year and 5 months, i do notice the battery deterioted which is the case with all phones but im pretty good a battery managing so i get 1 day out of my device before charging, you have to stay on it though like make sure battery saving is on, make sure you dont have a shitload of apps open which is a problem i have
Apple don't include the fast charger for possibly one or two reasons: it wouldn't fit in the box unless they replaced it with the normal charger or they're just money grabbing idiots who don't care about their customers

I havent seen any testing that states it destroys the battery's lifetime. A fast charger and a phone that last long on charge will always be better than one that takes too damn long like the iphone

That sucks....... I bought the iPhone 8 Plus 256GB & iPad Pro 12.9” Wi-Fi 512GB..... BOTH can use fast charging and both ran $1000 - $1200 USD then I had to spend about $100 USD to get 29W Apple OEM charger and cable. Keep in mind that Apple HAS about 1/4 of a Trillion USD in liquid assets; I am pretty sure they should include the 29W Apple OEM charger and cable! Kinda like buying a new car...... then they charge you for the engine after you buy the car so you can use it😱
Don't think you should use different chargers ie iPad charger versus 30 watt vs 5watt since amperage differs and why not test Qualcomm quick charge power adapter to the iPhone 8?

There is a bug with some phones which support fast charging, If the charge controller doesn't recognize the charger at first then it will not pull the full capacity of charge. I have seen it in a Moto X, Moto Z, S7 and a OnePlus 3T. My Moto X Play also doesn't detect the fast charger untill its 5 seconds in.
Great Video! The only thing is that I would have to say that the winner should be the Galaxy S7 Edge, I have both devices S8+ and S7 Edge, and in my comparison the S7 Edge charges at around 1 hour and 21 minutes vs 1 hour and 30 mins for the S8+.

Plug in the stock cable quick and hard it works for the s7 edge. Samsung comes with regular adaptive fast charging other Android flagship today come with quick charge 3.0
S8+ won, and s7 edge catched up pretty well, they even have a higher battery capacity, and they both have always on display on, too.😆😆 Proud s8+ owner❤❤
