Today, Leo was super excited to try out his new electric barbecue grill down at Boscombe Beach in Bournemouth. For our home education adventure, the kids and I hopped on a train to Bournemouth, using our veterans rail card to nab some discounted fares. Once we got there, we made a quick stop at Aldi to grab all the essentials - chicken, patties, noodles, veggies, burgers, juice, and, of course, ice cream for the kids. We then headed to the beach to meet up with Leo, who was all set up and ready to fire up the grill right by the water.
Leo kicked things off by barbecuing the meat, grilling the chicken and patties to absolute perfection. Then, he whipped up this amazing street-style stir-fry with our fresh veggies and noodles. He mixed it all together with the barbecued meat, creating this mouth-watering infusion barbecue dish that smelled incredible. We all dug in, loving the blend of smoky and vibrant flavours.
