Correct me if I'm wrong, but legit every other intended-by-design bruiser champ riot has released has the option to escape and not commit fully? They said themselves that Ambessa is all or nothing: you either go in and die or go in and win. That is literally the gameplay of every intended-by-design assassin, right?

As a K'sante main I would love to the rework get reversed and if you didn't like the new K'sante is because you cant side step W 8:26 and as a bruiser always build Cleaver to stop his tankiness and Dmg
Shojin Cleaver/Seryalda is core, ambessa needs these two items for dmg and then you can build whatever like DD or Steraks or whatever. But don't go eclipse, you delay your dmg core. I saw a Shojin cleaver ambessa 1v4
you need the shield bro her ult lifesteal scaling is bad early game
@parascytheplays2879 shield is nothing compared to her W shield, the only reason people buy eclipse is for lane sustain, as she can W+Eclipse in a trade and not take any damage on an 8 second CD. But it gets horribly outscaled outside lane/1v1s. So why boost the trades in the first place when you already are goated in trades? Just take Shojin as it doesn't get outscaled and makes your all-in way way better. The 300 hp is better than the eclipse shield outside of lane as in a teamfight you aren't going to proc eclipse twice. Eclipse is giga troll when you can deal +20% more damage with shojin and be tankier when it matters most.

i played briar into ambessa yesterday bc of exactly what you said, nomatter how she dashes briar still gets her full berserk and the matchup felt unplayable for her, ambessa q'd into me lvl 1 and i W her, lost her flash xd
shes full stacking cleaver in half second thats was rly stupid not rushing cleave first plus hp pool would be huge too

Maybe ambessa tank is good? I dont know, bruiser was so nerfed that 2 or 3 of them shine a lot and the rest of them just dont do anything besides split or random damage
Isn't the base damage also low? If you go tank you'll be hard to shut down and annoying, but you would do 0 damage since you have 0 scaling.
I learned it hard way that she is useless again high sustain tanks with a lot of dmg

I played both as her against a poppy and against her as poppy. (PBE Aram so take it with a grain of salt)
But its not AS BAD as you would think for the Ambessa since she dosen't HAVE TO DASH.
Im not too sure on what poppy builds nowadays but part of the reason K'sante does well into her is because he builds tank, scales with tank and has low CD for fighting.
I think champs with low damage CDs and that can afford building tank like Urgot can/will do well into her.
I could also be wrong and just hard tanks in general do well into her.

@@ameerrusdi2540 I think even lethality is better, against tanks or even bruisers would be a bad matchup, I guess even can be used as jungler, in top lane I just see viable in low elo, on recent gameplay ambesa vs riven he won bc it was diamond vs challenger, but prolly a challenger riven would avoid his abilities more frequently

What i find stupid about that champ. Shes an energy champ but her energy is literally never the problem. Her cooldowns are.
Wheres the logic to make her an energy champion then?
She only has infinite energy in combat. If you use your spells to escape you have 0 energy.
You consistently saw Druttut ran out of energy when spamming spells to short-trade in lane, what the hell are you talking about.
Her neutral game is heavily nerfed due to her energy, and if she does autos to refund them then her trading pattern in lane is gonna be way too clunky.
@@RiverNunu no. I consistently saw him have all his abilities on cooldown and full energy ecspecially in the early game
@@Cardinalbins in early game no energy champion is gonna run out of energy unless they purposefully avoid using their energy refund.
Her energy issue while kiting is gonna become really noticeable once you get some CDR in lane.
