My heart hurts for Hwa Geun. She loves the Crown Prince without any hesitations and she's willing to give her all. So pure and doesn't demand anything back. She also portrays such a woman empowering character. I really love her character. She's strong and confident but she also needs to be protected. This song fits her better. I thought her character was a villain but it actually isn't and she plays such an important role for the Crown Prince's life. Without her he could've been long gone.
My thoughts exactly.. :'( Never in the past 36 episodes did i cry for Ga Eun but Hwa Geun's story is just different. She has such a selfless love for the Crown Prince. Sacrificing her own life and even offering to marry the prince (and allowing him to marry the woman he loves later on) just so he could live are definitely the purest things that a woman in love will do. But that doesn't change the fact that her very own grandfather killed her. :/ I also feel sad for her father. :'(
lianne016 i definitely agree with you also w/ the part about hwa gun's dad. I hated him but not I understood why he was acting like that. He was being a father but also wanted to be treated as a son. Dae Mok was really one difficult character. This drama was overall beautiful. Painful but beautiful.

Pinkadotzz Kim So Hyun is beautiful too. I like Hwa Gun more than Ga Eun for the Crown Prince maybe because of her character in the drama. She is really loyal to the Crown Prince. But what if she turns into an enemy? :(
I love how Kei just surprises people. Everyone knows her as a really cute girl from Lovelyz with powerful aegyo but her voice is twice as powerful as that. This OST is one of the many songs that showcases Kei's amazing voice color and emotions. Honestly, it makes me sad how people sleep on talented people but I know Kei, as well as Lovelyz as a whole, will shine so bright that everyone will finally recognize their capabilities and talents.

Honestly, it's hard for me to fall in love with Korean historical drama but this is an exception. I think this is also the first time that I rooted for the female second lead (big fan of Kim so hyun but still love this girl)
The reason people love her is because even though she could have turned out evil (her family, her not getting love from the prince), she didn't. Her soul is pure and selfless. 😭

I came back again after 2 years. 2020 anyone And I still can’t understand why the title of this song is ‘stars and sun’. The sun is also a star though 🤷🏻♀️ the sun and moon is more appropriate. But I think this song is for Hwa Gun since the moon is Ga Eun.
Even though the sun is also a star, we cannot really see stars during the day so it expresses that even though they exists in the same time, they can never actually meet meaning the one sided love (we don't see both of them in the daytime meaning moon and stars). This is not accurate but this is what I feel. 🤔😃

Because usually in period drama, the king is considered as sun and their spouse, the queen is the moon. Sun and moon is considered a pair because sun and moon can meet each other during eclipse. In the drama also, the male lead gave the female lead a moon necklace. So i think this song named sun and star because it's for Hwa Gun (the second female lead) one sided love.
For me Hwa Gun has the strongest femald second lead. It was so heartbreaking! She is the first woman second lead that I adore. I am amazed by her charater so much. She is the definition of a true woman.

And I still can’t understand why the title of this song is ‘stars and sun’. The sun is also a star though 🤷🏻♀️ the sun and moon is more appropriate. But I think this song is for Hwa Gun since the moon is Ga Eun.
Even though the sun is also a star, we cannot really see stars during the day so it expresses that even though they exists in the same time, they can never actually meet meaning the one sided love (we don't see both of them in the daytime meaning moon and stars). This is not accurate but this is what I feel.

@@k.debeswor6562 that's how I feel as well. If the title is sun and moon, then that mean the love is not one sided. Because usually in period drama, the king is considered as sun and their spouse, the queen is the moon. Sun and moon is considered a pair because sun and moon can meet each other during eclipse. In the drama also, the male lead gave the female lead a moon necklace. So i think this song named sun and star because it's for Hwa Gun (the second female lead) one sided love.
For me Hwa Gun has the strongest femald second lead. It was so heartbreaking! She is the first woman second lead that I adore. I am amazed by her charater so much. She is the definition of a true woman.
Althogh it's 2020, i still prefer Crown Prince and Hwa Gun couple than Crown Prince and Ga Eun.In my opinion Hwa Gun deserve the female lead role.
