Exactly, she sounds like Aaliyah. I was listening to "Try Again" earlier today and I couldn't help but think that Normani could be the next Aaliyah when we talk about package and charisma. I always get that vision of her. However, I think that in terms of VOCAL TECHNIQUE she could (and should!) be a Brandy. Nothing less! The issue Normani sometimes has is in the execution. But her approach to music, to singing and her ideas overall are bold and breathtaking. She's come a very long way.
