***** I would say the first funamation dub is actually really mediocre. If you go back and listen to the performances of the voice actors it really isn't that good. While the Japanese dubs were on a much higher level acting wise.... but nowadays funamation has improved like crazy and the performances of the voice actors are really solid. I would say both dubs are on par atm acting wise. But I can enjoy just both. After watching DB Kai in Japanese I got used to the voices. I'm glad I did because I'm ready now for DB Super and I'm not going to wait for the dub.
Kaiser Yeah funimation wasn't very good at first, but they've REALLY come a long way since 1999 (time and experience can do that). And it's nice to see there are people that can enjoy it in either language after all the bickering and flaming I've seen from people who can't seem to see a side other than their own.
