The best version. Such a underrated song. 🖤
No it isn't underrated at all.
I believe this is Bob's most heartfelt and emotional vocal performance ever on wax. This studio version is the standard.
It's my favourite version over the live one. So Jah Say on the same album is also very emotional imho.
I prefer the Rainbow performance in London, 1977.
In this bright future, you can't forget you past, so dry i tears i say , no woman no cry
YESSSSSS! Thank you so much for this version! This brings me back so close to my youth!
Me too ! And that’s a long way. It feels good, doesn’t it ?!

Yes! Me too. I was 7 y.o.
Sweet Robert Nestor Marley…never will i fail to dance and smile when hearing his beautiful music. We still listen and dance, RIP and power~ March 2024! Who's here to listen to this epic performance?

This version on the natty dread album, 1974 his debut album without Tosh and Bunny, sounds way and way better than the live version at the Lyceum. The NATTY DREAD album is a killer by the way👊👊👊
this album is the fondement of reggae
if Bob Marley would still be alive he would be one of the wonders of the world
True
He is one of the wonders of this world regardless.
*If Bob Marley were still alive...
Bob Marley is a wonder in music and forever no one will make better music to feel nice 😊 there’s a lot of good music out there but no one let me feel the love ❤️ like him 🔥
No woman, no cry. Bob, your words are medicine.
Thank the gods--the original!
En vinilo lo tengo
Rastafari is for Bob Marley and Bob Marley is for everyone.

Eu sempre gostei mais dessa versão. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
tu as raison (cette version et moins populaire que l'autre) elle donne des frissons si on l'écoute attentivent mois aussi je la préfère
I love the way that Tems remixes the original song at the same time the lyrics are still the same. Hands off to her for doing an incredible job and this song really fits in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie. . Tems deserves the Grammy Awards.
OH! I wanted to hear this version! How nice!
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
'Cause, 'cause, 'cause I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
Oba observing the 'ypocrites
Mingle with the good people we meet
Good friends we have, oh, good friends we've lost
Along the way
In this great future, you can't forget your past
So dry your tears, I seh
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
'Ere, little darlin', don't shed no tears
No, woman, no cry
Said, said, said, I remember when-a we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
And then Georgie would make the fire lights, I seh
A log wood burnin' through the night
Then we would cook cornmeal porridge, I seh
Of which I'll share with you
My feet is my only carriage
And so I've got to push on through
But while I'm gone
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
Everything's gonna be all right
So no woman, no cry
No woman, no cry
I say, oh little oh little darling, don't shed no tears
No woman, no cry
No woman, no woman, no woman, no cry
No woman, no cry, one more time I've got to say
Oh little little darling, please don't shed no tears
No woman, no cry
No woman, no woman no cry
In the dark days, i miss you Bob and need your music.
Emocionante versão. The best. Primeiro som de bob q me tocou no coração
THE best version
Every time I am in a bad mood I always put on this song
Just relax
I do love live but too many long and extended versions. This Original is the best!
The Legend Lives On...
Ode to my father who passed on the yesterday (16/07/2020)
My condolences to you and your entire family
Yes!
Original 💚
That picture looks like an actor that was in a movie called Dragged Across Concrete. I still want the t-shirt with Bob Marley.
This song is on current rotation on my local light FM radio station in Hartford, CT.
I don't knew this version
Only Legend Version
been listening to live version since I was a child, then finally I'm listening to this original version for the first time...
This is the album version right? It's the best one.
Natty dread
He's still a wonder at work through us
Un son affiné👍
Tiene muy pocos comentarios está versión ❤️❤️❤️

Best music ❤️😎
This Marley? I've never heard a studio version! Awesome
th-cam.com/video/0SymPd102Vw/w-d-xo.html
If you want, you can even find the multitracks of this exact version 😉
Never heard this version before
❤
💚💛❤
There is an even more original one with both a piano(apparently played by Peter Tosh) and do-woop backing vocals.
Not a hammond organ.
Wailing Wailers 🤷🏻♂️
The bass is heavy on this one 😅
💓 💓
Оригинальная студийная версия , почему то ее мало сейчас где найдешь
いいね!👍
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Better on speed 0.75.
I don't know why the majority of population think this song was from Bobby McFerrin.
🍀💜
La mejor versión, que luego lo plagearia the police
is there a live version of the original?
It's on Live and Legend.

No, woman, no cry.
One more time I got to say:
O little - little darlin', please don't shed no tears;
No, woman, no cry.
Nice one 👍🏾
The live Legend version is much better, deeper and spiritual. But we can't have that version without the original here, so I do appreciate this one as well.
disagree
Live version is great but it lacks the reggae vibe of the original. I like this one better.
Is that a drum machine?
yes
Yes, it is.
Ina government YARRDD in trenchtown
it's crazy how much better the live non-studio version is. At least 100 times superior.
Especially the live at the Rainbow one
You gotta dig for this version. Top results don't compete.
This version is for the true fans. everyone on the planet has heard the slower tempo live versions which are amazing but also cliché and overplayed. This version is the Original and thus, the best version. Sorry not sorry
@@shanekohlmeier6359 The Live is ten times better. This version sounds like a nursey rhyme compared to it. Way more soul.
so much better this one
Клавдия Никитична: "Чаво? Ничаво! Убираться пришла!" ("Wut? Nuthin'! Came to clean up!")
Паша: "Ну всё хана." ("Well, everything is Khan.")
Клава: "Ну и понасрали." ("Well, they screwed up.")
Фина: "Клавдия Никитична, что-то у нас давно не пробирались. Мы с вами как договаривались?" ("Claudia Nikitichna, something hasn't been snuck in here for a long time. How did we agree?")
Клава: "Чаво? Ничаво, и так работа докузнища, а вы еще нагадили тут." ("Wut? Nuthin', and so the work of the blacksmith, and you still litter here.")
Фина: "Ладно, ладно, убирайтесь." ("Okay, okay, clean it up.")

The live ones are better
Haha
It sounds a little sped-up and the vocal pitch is too high.
Anyone here from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer?
Hmm...honestly, I think I still kinda prefer the more famous live version from his concert at The Lyceum Theatre in London, England, UK on 18 July, 1975...🤷🏼♂️
Something about the more slowed-down and mellow tempo of that version, I feel de music vibe troo me body more when me ears 'ear dat dere version. This version feels a bit too fast, a bit too stiff and nervous. It isn't until about 2:30 in this version that Bobert and his Wailers sound like they finally loosen up and start getting down with the groove. Up to that point, they sound like....nervous. And too rigid. The live version is all loosey goosey from the get-go, which is how this song is meant to be, seen?
Which of course isn't to say that this version is not also muy enjoyable. Because tis is. Tis most certainly is indeed and intheory.
I fucking hate live version, it's too pretentious. This is OG and has a soul and unique vibe
40 years that we loved Bob Marley, Jamaica and the Rastaman : now what about Palestine? Where is the revolutionary spirit of the Jamaican people? If you don't care about Palestinian, why you don't stand up with South Africa? Peter and Bob have always explicitly refused to play in this european colony of isisrael. We are really disappointed on this one, Africa is on the way to free itself from the europeans and you make the choice of supporting the beast of Babylon, shame on you...
Sorry unlike his other albums I didn't really like this album from Bob marley
who you apologizing to lmao, no one cares about a random comment's opinion
