So so awesome Kathy ...absolutely adore the "Gear up for Christmas" ! I'm like you ...its done perfectly! Thanks Stamperia! Cannot wait to see what you have in store for us! Hugs, Suzy Q
What an awesome haul! Those are gorgeous papers! I look forward to see what you make with all of them. I also love Stamperia. I don’t have many of their collections. But I love them. When this year is over I hope to get back to card making. It’s been a stressful year but also a very blessed and fast year. John had the last Bendamustine treatments last week along with the Rituximab immunotherapy treatment up at Mayo Clinic. (It is 3 hours from us). He goes tomorrow morning (Tuesday, October 8th) for his bloodwork to see if how his blood counts are. He has been so very tired the last couple of days and a little achy which tells me his blood counts have gone down again. We are hoping he doesn’t need a blood or platelet transfusion. But if he needs it we know it will help him. We go again October 28th to get settled into our hotel in Rochester, MN before he gets admitted to the Mayo Methodist Hospital’s Eisenburg building on the 7th floor for his last high dose Cyterabine treatments. Again he will have 4 bags of it. They are large bags too. Last time it was 2700 milligrams which was a lower dosage than he had in July. But he had to have 2 platelet transfusions last month and had such terribly low blood counts. He had no immunity to anything and still doesn’t have much at this time. They told us they are going to see if they can reduce the dosage again for his last chemo treatments. So we are praying they do. They did tell us with each chemo he receives he would become more tired. He was able to go into work last week and today. But he’s pretty tired when he gets home. He told me when he is at work he doesn’t pay attention to how tired he is. Keeping his mind on his work helps with that. After he is done with his treatments he will have the MRD tests to see if there are any hidden cancer cells. He will also be having another bone marrow biopsy to see if that is also negative for cancer cells. His PET scan was clean in August. They believe since his PET scan was clean that the MRD and bone marrow biopsy will also be clean and show no more cancer. If it isn’t clean and shows positive for hidden cells he will have to have a stem cell transplant. If I have told you all of this before I apologize. I’m wiped out myself. I have been so tired since we got back from Mayo last week. There has been so much to do since we got home. I pray all is well with you and Dale. And I hope you weren’t affected by the Hurricane that devastated the mountains of NC. God bless you dear friend.
