I admittily forgot that if you book round-trip you get a points discount for Emirates flights. I should've included that in the MAXIMIZE section. If you book round-trip it could be as low 108,000 points but it's hard to find award availability. You'll most likely find 141,000 points round-trip redemptions which is still pretty good. Pinning this to the top so you're aware!
Yes, in theory, it should be bookable via Qantas for 75k, but you'll find that Qantas doesn't have much Emirates award availability. Emirates doesn't release the same award availability to its partners as it does to Emirates Skyward members.
For the economy seat it’s likely available via Qantas but for the business seat it’s unlikely since Emirates severely limits the award space they open to partner airlines. You can technically book the Emirates flight on Aeroplan for less points but the award availability is pretty much non existent for the outbound jfk to MXP flight.
@AnthonyBove that's not what I meant. I was saying more what if I wanted to go to Rome but also would love to take this flight to get to Italy. So I would fly into Milan but how do I get to rome? By train?
That's why on my Emirates, Qatar and Etihad pajyamas I have "PAID F" embroidered below the logo, so people know I'm not a travel card flexor. I'm more than happy to pay $14k from DFW > DOH > BKK for the opportunity to pay my seamstress to embroider my *EARNED* airline loungewear!

Nice video on points & miles redemption. Thanks Max!
Max, you're the GOAT!!! Let's go 60k subs!!!
Max you are the GOAT! Seriously none of the other award youtubers gives us this kind of info. I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers
I'm happy to hear that Emirates started using the A380 again for flights to MXP. Now I can plan a trip this fall or winter.
Wow thanks max
The way I was like... It's JFK - MXP on Emirates.. as soon as you said bar... I may be in too deep.
Do you find it difficult to find award availability for 2 people?
We just flew the a380 to Mxp it was very nice.
glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Big difference between business and first for this airline?
If you care for a challenge, I'd love to know your take on flights to Argentina from the US using points. Thanks.
Is there a best way to book for you and p2? Do we each make our own Emirates account or can you use points to book for 2
Very informative video however if you use Qantas points business is only 75000 points!

At 6:21 the seats.aero dialog said that it's even cheaper if you book with Qantas. It looks like AmEx, Citi, and Capital One are transfer partners.

Website is glitchy, booked on the app
Singapore Airlines IAH to MAN.
Uff i go to Italy at least once a year, I’m definitely trying this one
Even if you don't go to Milan? Say you wanted to go to rome?
@@hugoenriquez9318 this particular flight with the bar doesn’t go to Rome, the other 2 videos he did are good for flight to Rome

@@hugoenriquez9318 yea that would work, you could get a regular ticket for super cheap or opt for a first class experience, still not very expensive
Is emirates business class lie flat seats?
A380 - yes
😃
An on-board bar filled with entitled metal card peasants, NO thanks.
😂 even no annual fee credits have metal cards now , it’s really not a flex
