The hate on maximus is totally weird to me, like why, even when he told the two cannibals he wasn't armed, that was a smart choice, and you guys still hate on him why?
Okay, nobody is defending Max, so I need to step in here for the little brotha: 1. "You stupid MF, you know this is all your fault": "You gotta be the worst fucking squire there is". We KNOW Titus was gonna woop Maximus' ass the minute he got that stimpak, and then just get himself a new squire. That isn't even a if/maybe, that was a fact! Max was done for the moment Titus got on his feet, especially in a world where "it's not a problem, we got plenty of squires". 2. We know that "squires who fail their knights" get a bad end. Rapaport went at great lenght about what was gonna happen to Maximus if he showed up alive and his knight dead: "They string you up by your lungs, they hang you, and they let the vultures come get you". So, what exactly was Maximus supposed to do here? Now we all know Maximus is a bit slow and relies entirely on his Luck stats and Idiot Savant perk to survive because otherwise, his inteligence and charisma stats must be on the negative numbers. But you can't fault him for using his multi-concussed brain to come up with this dumb story, hoping that showing up with the head would save him from the BoS' wrath.
Finally, a fellow Maximus defender lmao! Not gonna lie, the more I've rewatched this show the more I realized that while Maximus does fumble and say the wrong thing pretty much every time, his actual thought process for a lot of his messy decisions is pretty sound. Id assume that the Power Armor has a T on it because its T-60 power armor? Guessing its for Titus makes sense, but something that standardized in shape etc seems original to the armor, not like its been added.
The reason Maximus lied was because he proclaimed to be Titus in Filly. If he said his name was Maximus then she would be even more hesitant to trust him. But since he’s already lied, he’s stuck in the lie if he wants her to trust him immediately before they both die.
All Maximus had to say was, “we were attacked by a Yao Gui, Titus was mortally wounded so he ordered me to take his armor and complete the mission.” But Maximus is running Idiot Savant so…
Maximus stats from in game. 7/10 Strength, 6/10 Perception, 6/10 Endurance, 5/10 Charisma, 4/10 Intelligence, 7/10 Agility, 5/10 Luck He is basically below average smarts and average in social skills.
I really didn't think they'd even go back to the vault after the first episode... but as cool as everything is upstairs, the vault became the most interesting part of the show.
Lucy is when you play a 'good' playthrough. The Ghoul is when you play an 'bad' playthrough. Maximus is when you play to whatever choices suit your needs at the time. 😂 He's the morally grey character.
Maximus was a fool to tell Thaddeus anything before their mission was over or at the very least elaborated what really happened to Titus other than saying "He's dead". Maximus keeps making the worst decisions, minus with the fiends.
Nah, IMO he just presented it completely wrong. He was trying to get Thaddeus to go along with the lie to try and not get caught, when he should have approached it by saying he would come clean as soon as they presented the target. Also by being super shady about how Titus died.
@@marvymarv959 That was just a coincidence and that's it. He wouldn't have gotten stuck in that armor if he had kept his mouth shut. Maximus put himself in that avoidable position.
The way I see to this point, is that the broadcast with the rats might be indicative of how the vaults are managed. If they gave them an utopia, it would make them crazy and kill each other but if they gave them struggles and constant survival then they'd thrive. Maybe 32 wisened up to the plan.
I'm so excited to see their reaction to... let's call it THE TALK, next episode. Also, why would they bury anyone with their Pipboy? Don't they need to hold on to those for future generations?

what happened to the channel a couple minutes ago? i was about to watch this until it said "video is no longer available because the uploader has closed their TH-cam account"
Todd Howard is a huge Indiana Jones fan. It makes more since why Maximus survived in a fridge during a bomb drop. That's the only connection to that I would think.
'feels like all the vaults are social experiments' check out the fallout bible. Provides all kinds of weird niche details that never quite made it into the first 2 games.
SPOILER ALERT! I just realized when Betty said she and his father buried his mom themself, they are talking about the bomb on shady sands. They launched it themself.
I was kind of meh on Maximus at first too, but then I realized that his character build is low INT (which is why he keeps making the worst choices and choosing the worst dialogue options) and high END (which is why he can get his ass kicked so often but keeps getting back up) with a melee focus (which is why he's better at beating ass than shooting), and then I gained an appreciation for both the character and the show for paying attention to the game's character builds when creating the show's characters. It's really well done, tbh. Also, when you're suggesting that Maximus should've just been honest and told the Brotherhood that Knight Titus was killed by an irradiated bear in the first place, I don't think you realize how the Brotherhood works. They'd see that as Maximus failing in his duty as a squire to protect his knight and, as Titus said, they'd kill him for it. Maximus was backed into a corner and took the only option he had to stay alive: complete the mission and come back a hero, assuming the Brotherhood would forgive the breach of conduct in light of him delivering the macguffin.

i was watching this when it was cut by youtube and then the whole normies channel was gone, but now its back thank god
Maximus stats from in game.
7/10 Strength, 6/10 Perception, 6/10 Endurance, 5/10 Charisma, 4/10 Intelligence, 7/10 Agility, 5/10 Luck
He is basically below average smarts and average in social skills.
10:51
"The Normies and Vault-Tec bring you an explosion of flavor!"
[DISCLAIMER: NOT A REAL NUCLEAR EXPLOSION]
and with those 6 and 9 suits ))
You need to start giving warnings to headphone users for whenever Marketa screams.
Maximus was a fool to tell Thaddeus anything before their mission was over or at the very least elaborated what really happened to Titus other than saying "He's dead". Maximus keeps making the worst decisions, minus with the fiends.
No he wasn’t. Everything that happened was supposed to happen. If he wasn’t right there in that suit Lucy would have showed up and prob died.
@@marvymarv959Why? She had those roaches toasted
Nah, IMO he just presented it completely wrong. He was trying to get Thaddeus to go along with the lie to try and not get caught, when he should have approached it by saying he would come clean as soon as they presented the target. Also by being super shady about how Titus died.
@@CartesianDuelist and promptly passed out.
I heard a theory that Maximus has "idiot's savant" and its now my personal headcannon.
You looked at Ella Purnell's filmography but didn't notice Arcane? I guess you guys know by now, but I wanted to see the moment of realization.
A cockroach that huge would definitely chew through that armor, might take some time but it will. Bro would be long dead by then though.
10:49 If TH-cam ads were half as good, I'd immediately deactivate my ad blocker. That was hilarious.
Ella Purnell is on Yellowjackets guys, another amazing show that you should watch
I can't wait until you guys get to the last episode
I used to think Spidey was cool. What is with all the light skin slander?
Bro looks like the youngest daughter on Blackish. Idk why he talking
I'm so excited to see their reaction to... let's call it THE TALK, next episode.
Also, why would they bury anyone with their Pipboy?
Don't they need to hold on to those for future generations?
Man Spidey really is racist
yea, he might be the worse Normie even like Pat more than him
Remember in the first episode, it was mentioned that both 32 and 33 had a famine, and 33 came out of it in better shape.
"what's a vault to a non-believer" 😂😭
They would never bury a pipboy. Too valuable.
2:31 ughh someone gonna check on Chris… what was he doing here 🤣🤣
The fallout commercial bit >>> lmaoo
Democracy manifest! Get your hands off my jelly mold.
Maximus must have idiots savant
And the Mysterious Stranger, who clearly must have helped him with the yao guai back in episode 2.
Same as Lucy
@@marvymarv959Nah, Lucy is just naive from being in a vault.
The bridge crossing is a perfect Example of "community counselor de-escalation officers" at work.
[ Insert parable of the scorpion and the frog ]
Yeah, Slogan's like "Hope and Change" Have a strong effect on the weak mind. Every overseer of significance came to vault 33 from vault 31. Every. One.
Every gamer ever looked at that "go here" light in the hospital and screamed TRAAAP!
27:11 The first bombs fell in 2077 and the Ghoul used to be a Marine, BEFORE He was an actor. He beat maximus because he is intimately familiar with the armor the war in the alaska campaign. T60s are prewar tech.
Gentlemen! This is democracy manifest!
I see you know your judo well.
Yesterday is a mystery, tomorrow is a mystery.
Todays a gift, that’s why it’s called a present That’s legitimately pretty cool lol.
So is, a bird in the hand is worth a toe in the tush 😂😂
It's from kung fu panda
the vault-tec ad you guys did was 10/10
10:11 - Fistbump to Suraj over here killin' em softly.
Ella Purnell is the voice of Jinx in Arcane (was hoping you guys would see that at the end)
Loved your reaction as always. You should watch society of the snow. It's a great movie and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one. If you do watch it I recommend the original language with subtitles, the acting was amazing
what happened to the channel a couple minutes ago? i was about to watch this until it said "video is no longer available because the uploader has closed their TH-cam account"
A misclick that set the chabnel private maybe?
Spent entire episode hating on maximus... Maximus is correct about bridge
encounter danger and saves lucys life.... Normies say nothing.
HATERS
Todd Howard is a huge Indiana Jones fan. It makes more since why Maximus survived in a fridge during a bomb drop. That's the only connection to that I would think.
ive never watched a skipable add all the way through until right now. well done lads
this channel came back quick.
Betty saying she buried his mom made no sense. There's no cemetery in the vault.
'feels like all the vaults are social experiments' check out the fallout bible. Provides all kinds of weird niche details that never quite made it into the first 2 games.
"Remember that man I left with with the whole body?"
Suraj's hair is growing out so beautifully.
SWEET AD. The norm is short joke was hilarious
SPOILER ALERT!
I just realized when Betty said she and his father buried his mom themself, they are talking about the bomb on shady sands. They launched it themself.
Cant wait for Goosey MacLean
man, that power armor runs like a cybertruck.
All of my homies are Normies.
...That's really clever! 😁👍
I mean, not having an internal manual release for the power armor seems like a pretty decent design flaw..Lol
24:58 she is also in Arcane
Ella Purnell also voices Jinx in Arcane.
why was suraj so wild at the beginning hahahaha
The PhillyD jab was so accurate.
Ella Purnell is also the iconic Jinx.
That's actually a nice commercial but having a Japanese product with nuclear themes is definitely a choice 😁😅
Dude, that commercial break for your sponsor was actually great. Well played. lol
They could sell badges that say "I voted for Betty".
This is an older show but you guys should check out killing eve ... if u havent already watched it lol
LETS GO YOU BACK!
Glad Pat’s brain melted self isn’t in this episode bc I have zero doubt in my mind that mouth breather is a flat earther
BEST COMMERCIAL EVER!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love being Hap Slappy😂
Dope ad 😂😂😂 12:22
Helldivers 2 moment
