They look good, heres a tip that we use in Spain and that is when a large drive for a house is made using concrete it looks horrible normally as its new so what is done to age it is to mix a bag of Iron sulphate crystals 25kg with about 50 litres of water and you get a mixer to dissolve it all, we then fill up a garden sprayer and then spray the concrete. What the iron sulphate does is first turn the concrete green and horrible but within 24 hours this goes a lovely hue of orangery brown burnt colours. There is a chemical reaction between cement in the concrete and the iron sulphate and it permanently stains the concrete this colour forever. Its a good way of colouring large areas of grey boring concrete. I was thinking for your pots it would give them a roman greek looking theme as if they have been underwater for many years. You should try one and see what its like, after it has set and dried out so a few days (Normally concrete is 30 days minimum for structural strength) spray it and see what you think. In spain where I live the sulphate costs pennies. we get it from the builders merchants or the paint shops. It will really transform the grey look to a gorgeous range of colours. Not that yours do not look nice, its just an idea. Its works on anything that contains portland cement , the reaction is with the cement not the sand or aggregate. So be careful. Its non reversible.

Does this work on old concrete or does it have to be fresh? I have an old grey exposed aggregate driveway on a slope. Can’t paint it because it would lose traction in the rain.
@@margaretphillips3264 you could try a small area and see if it works, the problem is on old concrete normally the top layer of cement has worn away and youre let with just the sand which won't change color, you could jet wash the driver then do a very fine cement wash on the drive then put iron sulphate on and that would work, just mix up the pure cement with a lot of water an a big bin and use a mixer whisk or it goes lump then brush it on with a brush , just dont do it on a hot sunny day ior it will dry. try a sample and see,

failing that you could put a cement wash on the older concrete, mix cement and water together and brush it on to give a fine coat of new cement, very thin coats or it will crack, then try the sulphate. Dont do the cement on a very hot day and wet the old cement first to help it adhere.

If you would like to make the pot look old, add some moss to buttermilk, blend well, then paint it onto the pot. The buttermilk will help the moss to adhere and give it nutrition to get started growing.
