I think a lot of people (including me) thought that Team Wannabe would be the weakest, but they surprised me and delivered the best performance of the mission (for me). They were super charismatic, the interactions, the looks on their faces showed that they weren't just doing what they'd rehearsed, they were having fun. Their chemistry was perfect! Samara's vocals were perfect, Emily's energetic dancing, the super cute UA, Ezrela with her facial expressions, they all connected VERY well.
Wannabe had an advantage though because they didn't have props. Confident got the worst mission because of those clunky sweaters were such a weird prop choice compared to Buttons having chairs for a small portion.
My ranking is Daniela as my number one, Samara second, Sophia/Lara tied and as long as those 4 debut I am okay with anyone of Megan/Manon/Nayoung/Yoonchae/Ezrela being the last two members

She’s also a songwriter. Celeste has been into many performing groups. She’s probably one of the contestants who had already adapted to the training system. Nayoung is a power vocalist. She’s been in multiple singing contests including The Voice Korea. Manon is a songwriter. Maybe she produces too? I think her alto voice could add flavor to the group.

Sophia being the center sets the whole energy of the group whether in vocals, dance, or stage presence. The girl deserves to debut. In terms of each performance, I would say the ones who stood out for me are Emily in Wannabe, Lara in Confident, and Daniela in Buttons.

In terms of overall group strength and nailing the performance and concept. 1. Confident 2. Wannabe 3. Buttons Buttons was such a let down for me even though the girls did mostly good. PCD songs are hard to pull off because you can't fake the genuine sexiness that needs to be evoked. The bar was set too high for them too. Most covers of this song pale in comparison to the original artists. I felt like only one girl consistently gave it the energy and vibe it needed. I kept clocking awkward transitions, ill fitting face expressions, and parts where they rushed moves that kept taking me out of the performance. They had some really really good parts where they shined though. I'm just pointing out things I wished was better. Wannabe's team felt disjointed somehow. They did well too but the group dynamic wasn't as alluring as the other groups. Like maybe the girls lacked chemistry with each other. I put them above Buttons because all girls delivered on the concept consistently. If they all had the same baseline energy I think I would have enjoyed this performance more. The reason I chose the Confident team was because they felt the most cohesive. Every member nailed the concept and was on point from start to finish. This song is not originally a girl group song so they had that going for them since I can't compare them like the others. In this performance they felt and performed like an already debuted group. All members shined where they needed to and their energy complimented one another. Definitely the dark house team who came out on top in my eyes.

I swear the girls actually sing during the performance but they don’t use that audio in the final product. Like they have them practice while doing both but doesn’t seem to actually do both simultaneously in the final product.
Hybe thinks the audience is stupid not to realize that the vocals aren't live, but they are still the girls' vocals. Although I really wanted it to be live, but that's okay.
My impression of how different outlets use "live" means is that the recording is done in one take but that doesn't mean it isn't post edited compared to how it is recorded for an album with many separate takes edited together. Very few groups actually sing live with no post editing at this point.
It's certainly pre-recorded. If they had recorded the scenes of them singing live while they danced, you could hear their breathing and their voices "swaying" with the movements of their necks. But as I said, even if it wasn't live, it was their voices there and they all rocked it. @@thelastsplash

This, if we're being unbiased. Emily is the less popular, but she's gonna be on the lineup since she's a powerful dancer and performer with a class background (versatile and professional dancer who won many awards). She has a clear stable voice too which might be suited for rap position. It's just that people doesn't support her since the start. She's also white, people think she shouldn't be included on the "diverse" group. But the group really needs her. For Samara, people turned their backs after her issue but she's undeniably great.
