All easy practical stuff to understand! Well done on the explanations, thanks much. I suppose my only question that i still have is if the lower center strap is snug or adjusted correctly, does it matter where the hardware sits?it just dont wanna rub my boy accidentally

Thanks that helped! I was wondering if I could cross cross the rugs because the collar wasn't lying smooth. So now I know I can and should. Also, finally have a good idea how tight the lower strap goes, much tighter than I thought!
