Very nice..! You wrote that the switch changes the flight modes between 3D and 6G.. But what position is 3D and what is 6g ? (I mean Up and down position) ?
Are they rotary servos? The board looks very clean, almost walkera looking in layout. Tx already set up however is something Walkera never managed very well, very appealing to new pilot in CP helis. I may have to swap the TH and flight mode switches though
Wow! Great video thanks! ✅ I’ve only just bought my XK K124 and noticed your video is 2015, hope you’re still receiving comments 👍🏻 Lovely heli ! 🚁 I just need to know what 1, 2 and 4 correspond to in the expo settings. Are they pitch, roll and yaw in that order?? Also, I’m no expert so I need a bit more stability from the gyros. Should I dial the value up higher or down lower? Thanks!
@@fyresg Thanks but in the XK X6 transmitter settings for expo & dual rates, only 1, 2 and 4 are adjustable (they blink on the display). And Gyro is also one of the display options (with a wheel to scroll higher/lower if that helps you remember) 👍🏻
@@fyresg Thanks for replying! ! 👍🏻 The gyros are probably one of the most important parts of modern rc. Very clever electronics keeping aircraft stable (even real ones)😳 I think higher is better, just seems more intuitive but my K124 is still twitchy as hell lol. Nitrokyosho says lower ( th-cam.com/video/KiiiG7qwjw0/w-d-xo.html ) I’m worried about smashing her indoors during this lockdown but I’ll try a bit at a time. Still confused by expo & dual rates only affecting channels 1, 2, and 4. Could it be throttle, yaw and pitch?
when the hell are they going to come out with more scale bodies? i hate being limited to only one. surely the platform is versatile for several of the same basic weight and dimensions. i would like to see some bell, md, sikorksy models, as well as dual rotors like sea knight, chinook, etc. of course dual rotors would require a redesign but it wouldn't be too hard given how simple eflite's was then again it was coax.
Hello Fyre SG, this heli looks like a clone of Nine Eagle Solo Pro heli. The transmitter is very similar to the Nine Eagle solo Pro J6 transmitter. Can it be bind with the nine eagle J6 transmitter?
+Danny Yeoh, Looks may look similar but the RF protocol is explicitly stated to be *Futaba S-FHSS*. This means it definitely will *_not_* work with the J6.
what about the fuselage, can It take on a few crashes, or is it like an eggshell like v931?? I like scale heli more, but the fuses they use have a real bad quallity =(
Fyre SG yeah, im thinking about get one of those 124, but im afraid of breaking it or I might get 1 or 2 replace fuselages and try to find a way to reiforce it =) ty
Leon Kwauk 3D 6G modes will help learning so you can still fly it if you cant handle the 3D mode yet. But I think you should start with a none scale model without that destroyable chassis and better spare parts availability, probably a v977. Plus it's even cheaper. There is not really a 3D heli for beginners, most pilots will learn by trial an error/success.
janred94 Yes. Scale helis are heavier (so harder to control) and less durable. It is harder to do 3D tricks with a scale heli. Furthermore, this has 4 blades and that makes it less efficient than a 2-blade heli. *XK K110* or *XK K120* are better choices to learn 3D flight.
+kadek sudarwika, no, they are VERY different! The RF protocols used by the two are completely different. V931 has non-programmable throttle and pitch curves while K124 has. In fact, K124 is programmable in terms of throttle, pitch, D/R and expo; V931 cannot be programmed!
you one of best pilots here. btw i have a v977 and prepare to buy v931. if am buy a bnf version of v931 wll it binding with v977 radio?? sory my english is bad.
Well, it's a toy-grade product. Have you seen the "remote" (to be exact, it's actually called "transmitter") of WLtoys V931? It's much worse. At least this transmitter allows programming.
XD lol sorry for the criticism I understand. anyone here know if the V931 is the best option for a 6c palm sized helicopter? it seams to be higher rated then all other micros? Is there anything new I don't know about
No worries, I don't work for XK or WLtoys, so I'm cool with criticisms of their product. WLtoys, in general, are cheaper versions of XK Innovations. If possible, get *XK K123* instead of WLtoys V931. Both are the same except K123 has a much superior receiver and transmitter.
Wow K124 nice scale heli!! EC145
Can the transmitter be used to fly the plane or quads made by XK?
Or can it bind with other Futaba receivers.

MicroRCFiend Yes, rotary servos.
cool model, it looks like the Solo Pro 130 from Nine Eagles!!!
can i use an 800mah battery with this heli?

AETR channel order: aileron, elevator, throttle, rudder.
I don't remember if the gyro gain is used by the board. You try adjusting up and down to see if it works?

Dial gyro gain all the way up, then see if it flies differently? Also, dial it all the way down then try it. Does gyro gain matter?

How long does the battery last
4-8 mins, depending on how aggressively you fly it.
Fyre SG thank you
Bos mo nanya..harga rc helicopter yg ada divideo itu berapa ya bos..dan berapa harganya..mohon infonya..trims
We can buy it in Amazon

I like scale heli more, but the fuses they use have a real bad quallity =(
+Caio Zaniboni, they are harder but they do crack. These scale fuselages are designed to look nice, not to be durable.

+Caio Zaniboni i've crashed the v931 fairly hard and the canopy seems to hold up better than the blade brand stuff.
what is diference function of configuration in TX with switch 3G/6G.
+Rodrigo, the switch changes the flight modes between 3D and 6G. You may wish to search the web to understand what's 6G mode.
+Fyre SG , not is the changes parameters in TX for mode 3d e 6g?
+Rodrigo, no. It sends a signal to the helicopter controller to switch to a different mode. The helicopter will behave differently.
Rodrigo no
would this be an easy to fly 3d heli for beginners?

Leon Kwauk k thx
Fyre SG Would you say the XK123 is better than this on performance and durability
K123 is a scale heli. It is good in is scale looks and not known for good performance.
Where buy these model in Peru ?
just different fuselage and main blade (swashplate) Right??
i means k124 vs v931
+kadek sudarwika, no, they are VERY different! The RF protocols used by the two are completely different. V931 has non-programmable throttle and pitch curves while K124 has. In fact, K124 is programmable in terms of throttle, pitch, D/R and expo; V931 cannot be programmed!

thanks
Hello, i have a question.. Is this heli suitable for beginners? thank you very much
Yes, but XK K110 is more suitable.
Thank you very much for the answer.
Fyre SG
I just purchased this helicopter and cannot get it to even over. Any ideas?
Check the pitch range. Make sure it has enough positive pitch.
amazing ... how I buy that
By clicking on the product links as shown in the video description. :)
ok thanks
It is to small and costlier. There are more 3d helicopter which is big and more powerful like wltoys helicopters.
This is a scale helicopter. You fly it because you like its scale appearance, not because it is powerful or fast or agile.
Fyre SG Is there any scaled RC helicopter available for sale which is bigger than this? I'd like to buy them
cool bird bro!
a cool sky bird !
me encantan este elicoptero
Nice bird

oh sweeeet looking into it right now. money isn't really the problem so that's cool
I think I'm gonna mod my devo7e remote with deviation? or is there a recommended remote?
