Big B you got this, your small boats always handle well. Seeing that motor and servo in your hands after all those other larger components makes them look so tiny. It will be interesting to see this lighter setup go, torque roll will be a factor I’m sure. I put a 2835 4500kv car motor in my 17” mg and could never give it full throttle, torque roll was a big problem. I converted it into a hydroplane, why, I don’t know but it was still way to fast for its width and would roll on its back at full throttle. Hope the weather breaks soon. Its 16 degrees at 8:20am on 1/16 up here in Richmond VA.
I have an idea , have you ever thought about a Carolina Skiff or flat bottom , drift boat or see how fast you can get a flat or somewhat flat boat to go?lol
Yea man that's well cool, I just found a chap atomic hull put flycolor 90amp with stock motor 3536 1800kv, bang it on 6s just to see what happens its probably going to be messy 😂 👍
Yea you’re getting old, who cares how it handles, more power baby! Kidding obviously lol, gotta have the speed runners and bashers. Just speed running gets tiring as the tug gets more mileage than the speed runner 😂😂
I got one of these never ran collecting dust . Thanks for a winter project idea
I had a blast upgrading mine
Motor looks pretty!
Big B , great swap out . Let’s see it zip 👏👏
Yes sir, running video tomorrow morning
Wow thanks I didn’t know it mattered with the water line on jacket in bottom exit on top
Thanks BB, I learn a lot this this type of video, specially about tips and tools
No problem brother! BG4L
He likes lil boats and he cannot lie
Yes sir!
Great job 👍 yes, fast, stable, reliable, minimal maintenance & recovery, extended time on the water makes for a great experience. Nice work B
Great job B. Let’s see it rip at the park pond!
It will be ripping soon enough! I'm waiting for the weather to cooperate.

So would that motor be an upgrade on the mini dome? I don't know what motor comes on the mini dome.

Yeah boi! Let her RIP!
What would you say would be better boat for long time RCer first boat buyer recoil 2 or mini Dom?
Recoil 2 18 or 26?
Lets rip this man cant wait!
Yeah low kvs motors you got to run high voltage in order to get high rpms and speed. Try a 2s set up once...high kv motor like a 5000kv hummm
Different splin number
