- Hello guys and welcome back to ROTAQ which means Reviews of Technology & Query, This is Pratool Dubey and today I am going to compare Honda Activa 6G vs Suzuki Access 125 BS6.
Honda Activa was first released in 1999, and is perhaps iconic of the two. In order to keep the scooter up to date with the latest market trends, Honda has equipped its Activa with frequent updates and feature enhancements. Honda Activa 6G, is rich in features and comes with the latest BS6 compliant mill to meet the new emission standards.
The all-new Suzuki Access BS6 is also a famous scooter, but compared to the legendary Activa, it is very young. Both Activa and Access come with a similar set of features, and rival each other’s archives.
Therefore, here’s a detailed comparison of two of the best selling scooter in India, Honda Activa 6G & Suzuki Access 125.

Appearance
Talking about the design and appearance, Activa 6g did not get many changes from its previous model. The front look has a chrome garnish with a slight alteration in the design compared to the 5G model. Talking about the rearview, there are hardly any changes in the body. Observing the wheelbase, there’s hardly any difference.
On the other hand, Suzuki Access 125 BS6 you get the same look as its predecessor, you can identify it from the headlights. The scooter didn’t get any major changes on the sides. The major change that the scooter received is the fuel tank opening at the back which easily differentiated between the previous and the current model. Suzuki Access 125 gets a ground clearance of 160 mm whereas, Active 6g gets higher with 171mm.
Engine
Honda Activa 6 G has a 110cc engine that delivers 7.68 PS and 8.79 Nm torque lower than Activa 5G, which delivered 7.99 PS. But the current Activa 6 G has the engine Fuel injected. Speaking of the ride quality, there is no question that Activa still provides a smooth ride; the degree of refinement has increased due to the fuel-injected engine.
Talking about Suzuki Access 125, here we get 125 CC engine which is more powerful and produces 8.7 Ps power and 9.8 Nm torque which is more than Activa 6G. If you ride both scooters in Access 125 BS6, you can feel more power. It is smoother than ever, in terms of ride quality. The Access 125 engine is comparatively more durable than before, but still doesn’t beat Activa 6G.

I bought Activa 3 Months ago because its spare parts are available in open market, reasonable priced, and every mechanic knows how to repair an Activa. Maintenance is very easy and hassle-free because of this.

Overall Access 125 is best, reliable, powerful and smooth engine, its under compartment is spacious and can easily fir a full face helmet and it's floor board is big.
The seat height is great and can easily accommodate short and tall riders in comfortable seating position

I want to buy ladies segment bike for my wife, I am confused between TVS Jupiter zX, classic and Suzuki Access.
Her height is 5 feet 3 inch.

Regarding some guys told me that Jupiter build quality is not good and vibration on handle are more...So according to comfort and seating position which bike should I purchase?? Or should I wait for 1-2 months means if any new model will launch or not?? What's your thoughts on this?? I am living in Pune so here no issue of service centre and spare parts...
