Love your stuff Steven, but uh... the movie was made PG for a reason, considering that most people who watch FNAF are probably kids while the older fans are slowly but surely growing out of FNAF (Depending on their ages) so it would make sense from a business standpoint to cater to those younger fans. Plus, even without the blood during the Springlock failure, it still had plenty of blood, remember, 1 person got chomped in half! I loved that scene in the theaters...

what plot goes nowhere in the fnaf movie? fnaf is not just one game, the sequel will solve things from the first movie and put new ones on the table for movie 3, just like the games one of them answers a few questions and launch another ones to the pile

I don't think comparing the movie to Deadpool & Wolverine is the right metric to go by considering It was Hugh Jackman returning as wolverine among other things in the film (im not gonna spoil here for people who are interested in the film).
Yeah, ones a horror movie based of a child video game and another is based off a comic book that saves the day which Deadpool and Wolverine is extremely violent
Personally I think the reason why Burntrap wasn't a final boss originally might have been because either Blob (Tangle) or Vanny were meant to act as one. Maybe even Mimic was meant to be one, but never appearing as Burntrap at all. Anything is possible at this point.

The movie would’ve been better if they didn’t hold back on the blood, and the movie seemed mostly based on references and cameos, but I also understand that just like the books, the movie is in another part of the fnafverse, it’s not meant to mirror the games, it’s meant to fill in spots here and there to help us understand the lore better, or at least this is what I think
