Hey! Dog trainer here. To stop digging, it's rather annoying but putting her in the crate after the fact doesn't do much. Instead, you have to unfortunately supervise her at all times right now (particularly because she is young) when she might dig. When she starts, then you interrupt and direct her to a more appropriate thing.
Also, digging is really typical and depending on the dog, it can be really hard to get it to stop altogether. It can be a lot easier to instead redirect to a designated digging area - kinda like setting up a sandbox for your dog.
Alternatively, you can also set up a digging box inside by filling a box with dog blankets/towels and putting things she likes (treats, toys, etc) in that box. That can help give her an appropriate outlet.
I love the alternative digging box idea!! I have a 2 year old golden retriever who LOVES digging - especially on her dog bed (which leads to ripping and tearing) so I'm gonna give this idea a try!

For a dog that starts to destroy things and digging, a tip would be to make them exercice a lot by going on long walks and mentally stimulating games so they use their energy for other things than destroying🥰
i just got off birth control a few months ago and have been trying to balance my hormones too and help my acne! a hormone balancing tip I learned from a dietician is to never drink caffeine on an empty stomach + wait 90 minutes after waking up to drink it :)
I was told by my dietitian to not drink coffee until you eat something. Never drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Eat something and then drink your coffee.

For digging keep supervising her and interrupt the behaviour - I would stand inside at the window so my dog didn’t know I was there and when he dug I would run out and tell him and bring him inside- he started thinking I was always watching and stopped trying. It gets annoying but it only took 2 days so if you’re consistent it is fast !

Also I feel that about your mom saying Barista Parlor makes their own hours. One time I went 40 minutes before they closed and they told me I couldn’t get any hot drinks because they had already cleaned their machines. 🥲
