    Dear Jannpaul, on behalf of all the other people like myself who dream of the day when we buy our engagement ring from you, please do this unboxing style video with all your other white series cuts! It's so easy to envision what the diamond would be like once we buy ours. I have told my partner that we have to put it in the budget to personally fly to Singapore to go to you in person, and we definitely will after this pandemic, but until that day, these videos showcasing everyday conditions are amazing. I watched every single video and I don't recall videos showcasing the Decagon, Oval 8, or Cushion 8 diamonds in the lowest light settings or direct sunlight and the Round 10's performance is stunning, so I'm sure the rest of the white series are too. An unboxing video of the Decagon with these lighting situations is now my second most looked forward to video; the first one being an interview with Paul about the arduous process to create the Oval 8.

    Does GIA accept this cut yet?

    • @jannpaul920
      @jannpaul920 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I'll try to answer this on behalf on the JP team; yes GIA is able to grade it, however GIA will not provide a cut grade for any fancy shape or as long its out of the norm of 57 faceted round brilliant. so once it's a fancy or a modified, you'll only receive polish and symmetry gradings. long answer; with every new cut, it takes months for a lab to input the data and analyze it into their system, its a tedious process and GIA's direction is not towards innovation and transparency. AGS however is extremely meticulous on cut grading any modified cuts, and it takes months and months of r&d to give the conditions of "000" light performance grading, on a per cut/shape basis. they do this because of transparency. the TLDR; yes gia would grade them, all white series would definitely easily pass the symmetry and polish excellent. We can and have done that on request, but really there isnt much information that's going to be provided on their cert. -Paul
