I remember back (War 41-44, my first) We were 7-8 Tanks on our side when they only ran on Petrol, That was a massive arsenal back in the day, also had this thought of achieving a 3-way simultaneously attack of 20 tanks per front, something in the day was viable only if it was a secret operation from the enemy and the whole faction prepared for, now a possibility but still the easiest thing to achieve, due to lack of coordination and manpower
I was fighting as a colonial. That tank battalion just save us the war. They were most likely after our supply lines. Who knows the damage they couldve caused.
Yeah, they were planning to nuke Blemish, which is one of biggest colonial logistical hub. This could has potentially turn the tide of the war, but luckily mad colonial logi just open there storage and give out free tank for the QRF

@@peterni2234 basically collies have a bonus for the mpt(the tank you see them use) letting them mass produce them like dirt cheap, in the radio it seems wardens had a lot of vehicles but you can see by the footage most were trucks not tanks, while on the colonial said you just had crazy numbers. It's called a balanced game
TSO guy here(Colonial) We were prepping a 7 tank column in Umbral Wildwoods right as this was happening, and booked across region to join in. Had 4 tanks at the main battle flanking the west side, and 3 tanks and a couple other vehicles on the umbral border that killed a couple Warden vehicles that didnt go over, was a blast, what great timing for our Regiment.
So, almost a year later I should tell the story. This operation was a part of the "Jar of Dirt" operation by Versace. Which Versace, me, Mel, along with multiple other clans and clan heads were supposed to have 5 separate sites. The sites with Fishermans row, Shackled Chasm, Great march, Chasm and Allods. Each of these sits would have their own spotter, in theory. Of course, we obviously didn't have enough nukes to nuke all five targets. No one was told which was the real target until the very last second of the operation, however we'll get back to that. Versaces stream had started, it had depicted him grabbing a motorboat with him and a radio backpack. He made it very clear that it was a nuke operation and had depicted him going to handsome hideaway. During that time that he was "going" to handsome hideaway, the plan was in motion. The plan was supposed to happen the day before, but due to server issues that plan was called out (disconnecting when traveling regions, and regions being shut down all together) All 5 spotters with their respective detachments or lack thereof. Went to the location, 2 days before the actual operation I had scouted fishermans row to make sure the path was safe. I had gone with a newbie clan who I don't believe play anymore, a small detachment went to great march, 1 man went to allods, 1 man went to shackled along with my crew. The final, most major and inevitable goal of the operation went with tanks, trucks and loads of infantry to the blemish. Now, the first cracks in the operation unfolded. Versace had revealed that he wasn't actually the spotter and had been streaming a VIDEO of him going to the place. He wasn't actually there, and he was at his nuke site in weathered expanse. But there was a blizzard going on in Shackled. So Firecat (the spotter) had frozen to death, Mel was in position in Allods. The Fishermans row nuke was a decoy, the whole goal of the stream was to lure the stream snipers to Handsome hideaway. Once they knew the gig was up and there was a nuke in Fishermans, they would travel to fishermans, then once the spotters for fishermans died, they'd redeploy to the next spot. But Foxhole has this wacky feature that you can't deploy too many times in a certain number of minutes. So, they'd get stuck waiting to cross into the Heartlands when the nuke was aimed for Heartlands. However, by the video it obviously didn't go as plan. The colonials had spotted the massive force moving into heartlands, when it hadn't even crossed into Loch Mor yet, giving ample time, valuable time. For the colonials to prepare. Once we made it to Heartlands our people were stuck in queue trying to cross or were gunned down once they made it across. A glorious an attempt, but a failed one. The operation wasn't to "Cut logistics" or to "Partisan" it was for getting the first nuke ever on the blemish. However, it failed. I am grateful I was able to be near the top of the operation and watch it all crumble down. I got the nuke on Blermish anyways before it got removed as a logi town. As it seems, this operation was amazingly well planned. Im impressed by the fact that players manages to pull such a complex operation. Im sad it failed, even tho im a collie main. Honestly, people should do more of that stuff

In google it translate to Left, is that correct? Odd to say left when that is dependent on the players screen and not using a cardinal. I guess based off the front of their tanks, but could be confusing.

Historically we always prefered to use "right" "left" "in front" "behind". Simple, operational, quick to understand. I once had a similar situation, but we (colonials) were defending The Salt, there were like 12 tanks simultaneously (24-36 players basically), and almost no infantry. Someone said: “For first time in Foxhole, I’d say, we don’t need more tanks... We need infantry!” We started defending The Salt, but ended up taking The Pits.
That was one of the best flanking counter-attacks I have ever seen. We just plowed into the Warden flank and rolled them up like a fucking carpet. These kind of epic fight are what foxhole such an amazing game.
VersaceGuy basically blamed 1 guy for the whole thing falling apart... when it was a big team failure all together... Some warden kiddo's got impatient in the que and split off into another hex and got spotted and gave up the whole kitten kaboodle

We got Battle of Kursk here while the music screams "Give me Liberty or give me death!". as a colonial mad respect for this amazing QRF. but for the wardens. Kudos. It was an Honorable Battle
You'd probably only have a fun time firing artillery shells or running logistics by harvesting scrap resources with high ping. Can still be fun, but combat would likely be frustrating.
I love how between the usual 10-15 day normal wars every 3rd or 4th war is this insane bloodbath that lasts more than a month and thousands of autists from both sides spend all their energy to create a never ending titanic struggle of back and forth combined arms madness. Using every ounce of energy at every front to punch the other faction in the teeth, be it frontline, logistics, bunker building, organised operations, partisanwork, yelling BS in voicechat to rile up your comrade's, or just memeing out enough propaganda to keep morale high. This game is fuckin' crack, once you are invested there is no quitting a large war, even when i try to keep my distance and not invest in huge operations i still find myself sooner or later holding the line for 6 fuckin' hours straight.
Yeah, tanks don't unlock until late game. Usually by then you will see a couple at every front, but something on this scale is not a common event. You really need to be in a clan or just be lucky and find them prepping and ask if they need any help. I actually heard about this op on the warden discord server and joined in (though I was not with the main group, I was with a decoy spotter in a different region and we froze to death even before getting to our objective). As I said though, not a common occurrence. Best chance of finding an op like this is joining a clan that runs them, keeping an ear out on discord servers, or stumbling upon them prepping in-game.

It still has a strong community with queues to get into certain regions at times! There is definitely enough people playing to cover the entire map. I guess it is sort of like running with rifles just with a big emphasis on teamwork and communication!

In this game you need a radio spotter in an area for ten minutes to launch a nuke. The nuke itself was in a far north tile but can easily fly across to the southern tile. You would have seen the nuke if we failed to stop the assault :>)

where is the nuke..
In this game you need a radio spotter in an area for ten minutes to launch a nuke. The nuke itself was in a far north tile but can easily fly across to the southern tile. You would have seen the nuke if we failed to stop the assault :>)
i love how this game is but its so unplayable due to 3rd person bs sadly
To be honest this game would run into many problems as an FPS.

How do you propose they keep the dev-teamsize and spending for development the same but completely change the way the game works? You have to realise that most mechanics in this game are made with the top down view in mind, changing it would mean they need to develop a new game with the same looks?
