Hello ;; Thank you for shared your experience , if I have budget in 6/2023 till 2/2024 . do I enter financial year for 2024 and prior fill data for 2023 in quikbooks online plus, is it correct or not ? Thank you again.
Do not get advanced if you are very small! It is really meant for organizations with many QBO users (more than 5). What is very small though? I like Plus because of the budgeting feature IF YOU USE IT! If you don't use it, consider essentials instead.
So just me as a bookkeeper for my own business with no clients yet. However I just watched a quick TH-cam video where it seemed like maybe QuickBooks is free for bookkeepers that use it for their clients? Maybe I completely misunderstood that though?
@@amnewt1640 You can get a free account for yourself by getting QBO Accountant, and then each client will need to pay for their licenses (they can sign up with the link for the 30% discount for the first year and then add you as an accountant user). There is also wholesale options for QBO accountants to pay for the licenses yourself and then pass along the cost to the client. I don't recommend that though as prices increase and then you have to keep track of raising prices to the client. It can get tricky.
I love your video. But I notice that our books are set up differently...Each of our properties is set up as an account (Other Current Assets) and all the expenses that come in from CC's or the Bank are put into that Account. I have started separating them by Class (ie. Renovations - Labor - Framing) but I do not know how to set up a budget to compare with actuals for each project...Is this possible? When I looked under project on the side menu I tried to see if I could see spend but no transactions show up. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
Here's the TH-cam channel for it! and you can search "financial clarity" on any podcast app to find it! th-cam.com/channels/7_mdJXz9hT_5kAmfq4mRiQ.html

For a very small business do you think the plus or advanced is worth the cost?
Thank you so much for your videos!

Hello Clara! What if your company FY starts in mid-year? Is it a way to adjust this?
