I heard a very similar story about Abraham Lincoln and his beard. He received a letter from an 11-year-old girl before the election, who suggested him to keep the beard. She suggested it will get him elected in the Presidential election. He did that and he became the first president to have a full beard. He never stayed clean shaved after that.

@@Noneone66 you are correct, he is indeed Kumbh Lagna as per Pt.Sanjay Rath. So ideally, he should remove his beard to strengthen Venus being yogakaraka. But Lincoln did not enjoy life , he is known for his Work(Saturn in 10th house). But it doesn’t matter, as Little girl being Atmakaraka representative asked Lincoln to sport a beard so people will like him more. No human can give advice as Atmakaraka is actually voice of God.

In my observation, keeping beard makes both your Shani and Ketu stronger but it nowhere weakens your Shukra unless its not kept properly groomed. If not kept well groomed, it weakens both your Shukra and Rahu, but continues to boost your Shani and Ketu.
In general, it does no harm to Shukra, rather being a decorative feature it boosts it, as Shukra + Shani + Rahu factor, Expanded Dhanlakshmi Yoga, is boosted with this if it is taken well care of, as Shani is Hair + Shukra is Decoration + Rahu is Face.
Any of your facial or bodily features, if kept well groomed and maintained, boosts your Shukra as well.
Keeping beard is a very good remedy for anyone whose Shani has no affliction from either Surya or Mangal.
Also, keeping facial hair boosts Ketu (detachment) and preserves Ojas, this is one of reasons why Sadhaks keep them, as beard makes one go in tune with the nature or inherent psyche of human evolution.

Sir, I have Pisces lagan. Saturn in 9th house. I had started keeping beard since August 2021. I also started to keep long hair. Now as I am writing this comment, I have fully grown beard and sometimes I think I have become a mirror. People look at me and pass comments as per their prepesctive. Some say saint or some say not so positive remark. But I am determined to keep growing my beard.

I have also Saturn in 6th in Libra but Venus placed in lagna in conjunction with Moon & Mercury, Taurus Ascendant. I'm reluctant to keep beard but clean shaved with mustache. My son having his Saturn in 9th house in sagittarius & Venus in 12th. He looks much younger for his position in his career. While preparing his profile I suggested him to have photograph with beard in zodiac style. He looks apt for the Sr.position post for his career. He is an Aquarius ascendant. Generally it goes well for people with thin cheeks/ cheek bone like Amit ji, AB Lincoln than people with full/plumpy cheeks. Good observation.

The, problem is, Saturn shift in the 6th house in the bhav chalit and getting combusted as it's just 5 degree ahead of the Yogkarka planet Sun of 25.5 which is the functional benific in my Ariese ascendent. Venus is 6 degree behind Sun and debilitated being functional malefic.
I am a Structural Engineer, who deals with steel structures mostly, dealing with its Design, strength check and configuration.
Now my desire is,
* I want best result of my career / proffession.
* I don't wish to more weaken my Sun.
* And I don't want to attract unnecessary enemies and unnecessary litigation issues.
