I always wonder how profitable such systems are and how what expenses/profits have to be made from such setups and how much time has to be invested taking care of the plants each day. I doubt if a homeowner would place 20 of these inside of their garden it would result in any noticeable profits considering the look of these massive farms i see. Guess i will only find out if i ever get the space to 3D print my own tower and test out how intensive Hydrophonic farming really is.
Why you need rotating system if you just put lights all around? I understand when you place tower outside for sun light and plants which are on north side will get less of it, then rotation is logical, in this case, with all the lights around, I don't get it.

I just saw a kick starter with a 17k buy in that grows 100 plants, I built a similar system that grows 32 plants for under 200 bucks cad

Hi, for one tower, the layers can be made up to 30 layers with 180 holes, the overall height is more than 5 meters.

No advantage, other than more even light exposure on all plants. It’s ridiculous overkill.
